It’s really quite good, but a lot slower than I expected. Using libido as a marker for monstrous transformation is smart as heck, and opens up the door to a really interesting exploration of sexual attraction (that it probably won’t explore because the action is more straightforward than that right now). I’m hoping it has a decent length to it.

Anyone know if there's been any indication if REAL will run in the digital magazine or not?
Previously Inoue-sensei was one of those few authors that oped-out of putting their series in the digital magazine and only allowed it in the physical magazine. But he hasn't released anything since 2014 (besides occasional individual pieces of artwork for some things). Anyone know if that's still the case?

I'd assume those scans are from the physical magazine since the digital one isn't out yet.

1) This ad's was also in Young Jump #23 digital issue.


And above (in bottom right) it says "the vouchers, to be sent, to participate in the competitions for the magazine's 40th anniversary, are not available in the digital edition". So we can think that if Real was not included in the digital edition, there would have been a message as for these vouchers.

2) Corean/Chinese guy hack some site (like Comic Natalie for news or, in past, Kinokuniya) for get digital magazine 2/3 days before official days. So they are possibility scan came from Young Jump digital issue.

Ok, thanks. Yeah probably if they reported on the series coming back they would mention it in the digital magazine that it was only in the physical version.

Urasawa used to do this with Billy Bat but Asadora has run digitally, so maybe whatever changed Urasawa's mind also changed Inoue's.

Man, I need to catch up on what the heck is still publishing in this magazine. I feel like there's a new series almost every single week lol. I feel like there's a bunch of series I don't even recognize in this TOC or only know by name. Do any of these new series seem like they stand a chance of lasting any real duration of time?

^ I've given up on trying things from here since everything new seems to be getting cancelled after a couple of volumes. I'll consider reading a newer manga from Young Jump only after it's survived for 2-3 years and if it's somewhat successful. I don't know what the editorial department is doing, but it doesn't seem to be working out very well, considering this is still a very popular magazine.

Love, love the Shikabana's art! Hoping this starts off well so it could stabilize itself in the magazine and get scanlated.

They will have to axe more manga here, they already have 24 (with Pochi replacing Hana Matsu and Real replacing Rikudou) as is! Probably Akechi and one of the Satsujin Muzai or Douji Gunkan.

Ooh. I'd definitely give Kanojo no Yasei ga Te ni Oenai a read. It's a self styled "love survival comedy" which gives me Nejimaki Kagyu vibes.
