It’s really irritating because so much of what hasn’t worked has been series I’ve gotten attached to, abandoned too soon for a millionth set of new serials. Or uh Stars of Baton which was great but bombed so hard it didn’t even end. A frustrating magazine.

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai will be absent next week. Also now that Korean scans are out for this week's chapter, yaaaas at what happened! I just love this manga.

WYJ is just applying the WSJ thing, problem is that doesn't work when you try to serialize a lot of things but around 6 or so only are your good performers.

Dorokei is a horrible seller sales wise, so I am surprised it made it out to 7 volumes.

Baton is such a weird case. If it was doing so bad that they ended it after 10 chapters, why would they simply say that part 1 was over and to await part 2 rather than ax it outright?

Side note, for as much of an outrageous series as it was, Kunoichi no Ichi had a really sweet ending. Just went and checked out the raw for it, and I was pleasantly surprised by the way the author wrapped things up.
