So pretty much all the most popular and most interesting series in the mag right now will be gone for a week? I wonder how Shueisha is gonna get people to buy that issue.

GED, Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai and Golden Kamui are still there at least. Not like YJ has a lot of popular series anyway (and Libidors/Kanojo no Yasei are far from that).

Yeah, there's such a huge gap between the old, pillar series and the newbies that it's actually pretty amazing. It has been a couple years since there was anything that has even come close to rivaling Golden Kamuy and Kaguya (not even going to bother mentioning Kingdom since that's untouchable lol). Currently, there are a few series I follow right now religiously (mainly Kaguya and its spinoff) and a few others I follow more casually - Momo started out alright but I've gradually been losing interest in it (Boku Girl was better), Shadow's House is low-key but mysterious, and I think Kubo-san might actually be a cute little read.

There are more that are untranslated that I look through the raws each week out of curiosity - Maku Musubi, Kanojo no Yasei, Made in Hikkomuse, and the upcoming Kowloon all fall into that category. I occasionally look through Snack Basue and Kawaisounine as well. My guess is more than half of the series currently running in WYJ will be concluded or transferred out by the end of 2020.

That color page for Maku Musubi is super cute, and while I wasn't blown away by the color pages for Kowloon Generic Romance, I was blown away by the author's paneling and artwork used in the rest of the chapter. I'm definitely interested in seeing where this series going to go, especially after how their previous series concluded.
