Wow, that's a pretty fast turnaround for the author. It wasn't that long ago when their last series ended. Glad to see they're still up and running, plus they must still have a solid relationship with Young Jump to get a oneshot again so quickly

Actually, now that I’m here, what are some manga you’re currently enjoying in Weekly Young Jump?

The only series I'm currently caught up with are all the romcoms, lol. It's actually pretty great though because they super distinct from each other (especially Kowloon) and each bring something different to the table! With a majority of the magazine's recent successes being romcoms, it feels like Young Jump has finally found an identity that works for it (which it didn't really have before).

Besides those, BUNGO has been a pretty enjoyable sports series and I'm hoping to start Golden Kamuy soon (maybe Real and Kingdom too if I have the time)! I've also started reading some more classic series like B Gata H Kei and Gantz!

As of now, just Kaguya (which is one of my favorite series of all-time). I haven't read REAL since it came back, though, and that's an amazing series as well. From the current line-up, I also read 100kanojo, but not a big fan, honestly.

I do love some older YJ series, though, such as Liar Game (although the ending sucked) and Kokou no Hito (just need to look at my profile picture). It was a magazine I was very interested in, but lately seemed kinda bad? I hope the new series stick around to help it.

I'm currently reading Golden Kamuy, Kaguya, Kowloon, and Kubo-san. I'm also reading Kingdom, but I am very far behind on it (a lot of k's in there). I really haven't read too many of the magazines older series besides Minamoto-kun monogatari for some reason, although I'm sure I'll read some older stuff from the magazine some day.

Golden Kamuy, Kingdom, Kaguya-sama, BUNGO, Kowloon, Batuque, Shadows House, Kubo-san, 100 Kanojo.

My fav is GK, and for the new ones i really enjoy Kubo-san.

I hope for Kawaisou ni ne, Genki-kun and Shounen no Abyss to be scanlated.
I think that the new series by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari is gonna be scanlated.

Personally, I read:
Kaguya-sama (Fuck you, Aka, for that cliffhanger in the latest chapter. xD)
Kubo-san
100 Girlfriends (Honestly, I really like this one. It's pretty unique and funny with what it does.)
Kowloon Generic Romance (Need to catch up to this one, but I really liked what I read.)
Yes, they're all romances here. But it's remarkable how different each one of them are.

I've also been meaning to check out:
Kingdom (I hear it's seriously good. The manga, anyways.)
Golden Kamuy (I'll check out the anime for this.)

I'm also interested in the new series written by Aka, it sounds interesting.

I’ve been reading the likes of Golden Kamuy, Kingdom, Kaguya, Bungo, Batuque, Gantz:e, Kubo, Kowloon, 100 kanojo, REAL, and a couple others.
It’s quite tough for me to pick a favourite because I believe some of the names in this magazine are really freaking good, so it would have to be one among Kaguya-Kamuy-Kingdom-REAL for me.

Batuque will move to Tonari no Young Jump in a few chapters (4 or 5), but something else needs to end or be transferred, perhaps Shin Sakura Taisen the Comic will end soon and MoMo or Alma to be transferred (?)

100 Kanojo, Kaguya and its spin-off, Kowloon, Kubo-san, and Shadow House are all really interesting and series that I actively enjoy, Momo I keep up with casually, and I follow along with the raws for Maid in Hikkomuse.

I've also started reading some more classic series like B Gata H Kei

B Gata H Kei was actually the series that got me into watching anime and reading manga. Saw it by chance one day on Netflix, and then I wound up looking for more after watching the series. So that series has a special place in my memories.

Another 3 new series? Looks like Batuque is transferring, I think I remember seeing Sakura Wars was going to end soon, and then that just leaves 1 more thing that'd need to end. Alma or Momo would probably be my next guess for what would transfer or end, maybe leaning towards Alma since the plot of the series starting in Issue 24 seems like it's pretty similar in genre.

Ongoing-wise with Young Jump I get volumes for Batuque and Shadows House in Japanese, and was getting Golden Kamuy and Kaguya-sama in English before UK Comixology prices went up by 60%, and that’s about it. Most series I liked either transferred or got cancelled (Dorokei, Tonari no Akujo, Kaori Warning, etc), or I’ve not switched to volumes on yet since I dropped the magazine (Genki-kun, Good Job). Loving Kubo-san from Tonari no YJ, and Grand Slam, a baseball comic from 2011 in YJ.

I like keeping an eye on this thread for any interesting new series, so power to all of you talking about them

I read Kaguya and its 4koma spin-off, Golden Kamuy, Kowloon, Batuque, Shadow House, 100 Kanojo and barely keep up with Momo.
Its current line up is pretty weak.

I haven’t read, only watched, but season 1 for me was a bit of a letdown. I felt people didn’t hype it till the Chika dance and then it started soaring. The fireworks episodes were great but the jokes don’t work well for me most of the time. Maybe I’m just a Boomer?

Personally, I like the anime, but

1) the manga is better, even considering just what the anime covered
2) the series gets way better for me after that

And, although I love the comedy and it's a big part of the series, if you liked the fireworks I feel like you would have much to enjoy in the series, there are a lot of dramatic moments similar to these coming and I think all of them are brilliantly written.

Most of my love for Kaguya was from Kaguya Thursday (damnit Jag). My favourite was /a/ reacted to firework during the live translation. I think it was far more hype than anime.
