I'm just curious as to some of the reasons as to why people enjoy reading it. For me personally, I love how Ohtaka uses realistic elements into her story, such as economic and racial discrimation, without it sounding odd or too far fetched. It's very different from the usual shounen mangas that I'm used to reading.
Also Magi has never felt predictable to me and I'm always left wondering what's going to happen next. Ohtaka does a wonderful job at leaving readers wanting more.
