Erm...question: I'm trying to change my avatar and put up one that hasn't got a background but everytime I upload it MH adds a background on it. Does it not accept images with transparency or what?

Any solutions??? thank you

Depends, does your image extension end with a jpeg? If it does, change it to png. Quick way to do this is go on your comp go to my documents, tools, folder options, 2nd tab and unclick Hide extensions for known file types, and change the pic you want, and it show what extension it shows. For example, it should show 1.jpg or jpeg, if so, highlight the jpg part, delete and rename it to png, it will ask something about risk of changing file type, ignore and click ok.

From the MH faq it says jpeg will give you white backgrounds, where is png enables transperancy.

avatar / sig i currently am dawning is a sketch i did of "Neliel" from bleach. i like the design concept kubo chose for this particular character and she's a pretty awesome arrancar.

Well I chose my avatar because it reflected my username and the theme I was going with. Between me and a few friends "Arrogance" has been an inside joke. Then we find a chapter in Naruto in which Pain is saying "Don't Be So Arrogant" (view sig) which added even more to the inside joke. So I decided to name myself Arrogance after this inside joke, and to then use Pain for my theme. So then for an Avatar, I decided to create my own image. I found a picture from the manga in which Pain was in a rainstorm holding out his hand and it was covered with water. When seeing this pic I was inspired to color this in and turn the water into blood because everyone knows blood is epic, lol. So as a result, I spent two days in MS Paint coloring this in (because I don't own photoshop or anything and I was welcome to a challenge, lol). So this is my final work that I'm really proud of =).

P.S. I added a larger picture because there is a lot more detail that can't be seen by just looking at the avatar.
