Oh, I agree that it will end within two years, I just don't think it will happen next year. Kishimoto is clearly bringing it to a close, but I think it's probably got about 60 chapters or so to go, so early 2011.

Miura is only 45, and he is finishing his brake now and saying hes going to be doing 2 chapters a month for the next to years, so it will end in our life times, miura still has a good 30 years in him, i wouldnt count beserk out just yet.

well when Miura starts churning out 2 chapters a month, I'll reconsider my thoughts, but until than, theres no feasible way of Berserk ending anytime soon.

To tell the truth, with most of the enemies defeated, Naruto has a minimum of over a year left. Yes it will be really drawn out so maybe sometime in 2011 or 2012 would be a better bet, but somehow I just imagine probably one or two more major fights (major as in really big characters like Madara or a resurgent Kabuto or even the final Naruto/Sasuke fight) before the ultimate, final, end of everything battle. But it's all essentially down to pacing though, considering that for every super-long fight this series gets (Nagato), there are ones that are breezed through (Kisame) and still others that really seem rather pointless or "just there" (Sasuke vs. the Kage)

i know it was supposed to end in 5 years when it first started, and he had planned the ending already at the beginning. then he said he plans to extend it because he fell in love with OP

but I haven't heard of Oda saying he will be ending OP anytime soon. from the looks of it, it can go on at least 10 more years.

Well, they haven't even reached the second half of the Grand Line yet. And given all the hype built up surrounding the New World, I wouldn't be surprised if the second half of the Grand Line takes more story time than the first.
