Discussion When Will These Manga End?

I'd say Naruto was only stretching during part 2 before the Taka arc. It seems to have found a good pace now. Can't say the same for Bleach though. The current arc manages to be longer than the Soul Society arc, yet have less content at the same time.

Strangely enough I thought the Immortals arc was rather well paced as well and that there were some over-stretched and stupid parts of the Taka arc.

The immortals arc and the Pain arcs were very well done. The aftermath of the Itachi fight was garbage and the current arc is not going well. Bleach is just a mess right now. Everything since the fight for the pillars has been awful.

I'd say ten. Togashi has commitment issues when it comes to manga. He could probably write it for another 20 years, but he will cop out on it after awhile and rush the ending similar to YuYu Hakusho. Though it would be nice if he surprises me.

The New World will not be longer than the Grand Line. The NW will be focused on Luffy, The Ancient Kingdom, The Ponyglyphs etc. It will be focused on the main plot, not stupid little sub-plots like the War and Skypiea etc.

wow u guys and here i thought i was one of the few to still(most of the rest stopped reading) read Hunter x hunter, sigh i wish Togashi could hurry up a little he has been driving this for so long

He could. I'm to cynical to expect him to write for such a long, sustained period that one arc would take a reasonable amount of time. A rushed ending could take him 5 years if keeps taking a year between volumes.

and the homunculi being defeated. naruto next 2 years with all the baddies dead naruto hokage. OP when they fine the treasure of OP.

FMA - pretty soon. It's nice to see an extremely popular battle manga that actually knows how to finish. It seems almost every other shounen battle manga forgets that stories are supposed to end sometimes.

Naruto - It seems all the main villians have been revealed now and its somewhat clear who's going to be fighting in the final battle(s). But still, this is a shounen jump manga we're talking about so maybe 2 more years.

Bleach - The final battle is going on right now...but it started like over a year ago sooo I'm guessing Bleach has got like 3-4 more terrible, awful, ugly years left.

One Piece - Hopefully tomorrow because I hate OP with every fiber of my being, but seeing as how people seem to like terribleness it will probably go on for at least 10 more years.

Gantz - Final Phase started, but chapters come out bi-weekly and its always had a pretty slow pace. Phase 2 (~70 chapters) took 2-3 years so I'm guessing Phase 3 will take 3-4. Oku has stated that he knows how it will end so at least it won't drag on like Bleach.

Berserk - Should have ended with the golden age arc when it was still good. I've dropped it because its starting to remind me of Inuyasha (which I hate) with its monster-of-the-week kinda thing. So I really don't know whats going on at all right now. From what I hear its going to last forever so I give it 6 years.

Konan - 800 years

FMA is one of those rare exceptions in a lot of hays Hiromu knows what shes doing.

Naruto could drag out a while. The final arc may be starting but based on his interview he will spend all of 2010 focused on Kakashi. I don't expect an ending until 2011 at earliest.

Same goes for Bleach. Kubo said there will be a short arc similar to the arrancar/vaizard arc before the final arc starts. At least another two years.

Conan won't end. Before the mangaka dies he'll have an assistant take over. This will be like Doraemon type deal.

it has to end pretty soon, the FMA anime has 4 months of airtime left. It pretty much has to be wrapped up in 4 chapters for there not be a filler ending in the anime again

They could do some filler. Considering what happened in chapter 102 4 - 7 chapters seems reasonable.

for FMA, I think 4 more chapter for a rushed ending.
7 or 8 for a solid one, and around 10 for some good after stories.
