FMA already had a filler episode in the latest anime.

But yeah, FMA will probably end in 2010, together with Bleach.

I don't see Tite pulling even more crap out of his ass. After defeating Aizen which definitely should end in 2010 there's nothing more for him left to ruin.

But it's probably not the real Aizen, because Aizen is in hell, trying to pursuade Satan of destroying Soul Society and all Shinigami's.

....

....

Naruto will end in in less then 3 years, most probably in 2012. Let's hope not, because if Naruto goes, the world goes.... is what a Narutard would say...

But seriously, it'll end in 2012, maybe Q1 2013.

If you take One Piece, reading most of the author's interview and other hints, it'll end within 5 years, he never planned to go on this long anyway. He planned it to last until 2005/6. Then he said he had 9/10 of the series finished... Let's say he's halfway through the story, with some faster pacing, the upcoming timeskip. It'll be 5 years, no less, probably not longer.

Unfortunately we have to give up making any sense of "when Bleach will end". Though there are signs in the latest chapter that a climax is coming, Kubo has already confirmed at least two more arcs so it's just a climax for the current scenario. (as for the next arcs, it does sound like a short one and a "big grand finale one" as mentioned elsewhere). The question is no longer "if Bleach will end" or "when Bleach will end", it's "can Kubo keep his mind sane enough to get through it before all his fans go nuts".

As for Conan...well unlike a bunch of other shonen that just really have no intention of ending and really should have long, long ago (looking at you, Keroro), Conan does have what sounds like a bunch of puzzle pieces that essentially have to come together before it's finished and the series can end. The problem is that from what I've heard from Conan fans is that there are so many "filler cases" that have little to do with the main story that getting all the pieces together may never happen. This does tend to be a problem with a lot of Sunday-based series though, which have an overarching story connected by a bunch of smaller stories...and most of the time a series can't end because the smaller stories interest the mangaka more than the overarching one.

Even though I'm a big fan of One Piece, I really hope it's not just half-done. What I mean is it should really end in 4-5 years, at most in 2017 (that way it could finish in its 20th anniversary :D).

Can anyone figure out when Gantz is going to end? Is the 3rd Phase going to be longer than the 2nd? It can't be as long as the 1st thats for sure.

the author did say he has the ending all planned out (in an interview like 2 years ago)
its just that he is planning to have more fun with the series :facepalm
if conan had less fillers, it would have been really great and I would recommend it to everyone. but cause of the length of the useless parts its so boring at time.... but the real stuff is great.

Yeah I sort of figured it was like that: Conan has an ending, he just wants to do more cases. I guess it works but this mentality sort of doesn't work for other Sunday series. (and could explain why a series like Inu Yasha took forever to get to a climax: Takahashi just wanted to tell more stories with that set-up before she got to the finale) I guess in some ways it's one of the reasons why I fear starting to read Conan as great as I hear it is: I heard it's great in it's detective genre, but sort of just meanders with a lot of these "filler cases".

Well, we got our answer for FMA. Naruto and Bleach continue to confound my predictions. Just when it seems a final arc is set up, Kishi and Kubo go off on some tangent. Kishi may stretch here and there but at least we know the story is headed to it's final arc. Once the war begins I bet there will be a year, year and a half left. There's no guarantee the war will start anytime soon though. God help us all with Bleach. I have no idea where Kubo is headed right now.

What Kaiten said: Kishi knows where his story is going and seems to be probably giving the "last power-ups" to his mains leading to a conclusion. Kubo...is in la-la land and may need something drastic (end of anime, massive drop in popularity) to fix his problems.

Bleach could end, literally, this year. The current training could be the last power up, the upcoming confrontation with Aizen could be the last fight. Or it could be inconclusive, again. I don't see a situation like Shaman King, not right now anyway. If there is he has it set up to end now.

It isn't a bad theory except for this: Kubo has way more planned and he just likes bugging people making it seem like everything is going to end...except...something happens. Maybe he could be lying: maybe we're approaching the end...but I doubt it.

Kubo also said that he plans to a smaller arc after this one than the finale....but lol that's gonna take years since this one has been going on forever...they were in the Arrancar when I picked it up -_-;

Oh he definitely will not end it this year. He probably won't end it next year either. Should he choose to, he can end it in two months. What self respecting Jump action mangaka would do that though :p

It won't.....least not anytime soon unless something major happens in Oda's life. There is still so much that has yet to happen, and Oda just keeps introducing more plot devices. The biggest plot piece that has to be dealt with that I imagine will take the most time is the Blank Century. I can see a major flashback for that one. If this starts happening, that's when we can assume One Piece is nearing the end.

One Piece has at least five years left in it. Probably more. I don't think it's even half way done.

How many people think Shiki is going to end along with its anime.

Since Shiki is based on a book it will end when Fujisaki finishes adapting it. Not sure how far along he is but the anime will end in January. If he only needs 7 more chapters it's feasible.

Kubo is a terrible storyteller. There, I said it. He has no idea where he's going, he's just taking a baby step at a time. Out of the big three, I bet Bleach will be the last one to end.

At least Kishi is setting Naruto up to end within the next three years.

any idea when Kimi no Iru machi will end?..Frankly initially i was really impressed with KNIM..but the last 3 chapters esp it was SOOO damn annoying so annoying that its getting on my nerve so i took an oath not to read it till its over so that i can skip the retarded portions off ..seriously i doubt even the spoilers that we get from the popular animations can get this bad
