For a second though, I thought you lived in the same nation Fantastic Four villain Doctor Doom apparently is a monarch at in American comics, but I double-checked and it's spelled Latervia >_>

it is written as romania in english...translyvania is a city/state in romaina (not sure)...in the beginning of ottomans armies was marching into balkan/europe, there was a lord in romania, who was sadistic and was killing turks and drinking their bloods just because they were muslims (drinking blood stuff may not be right but thats how its told now)..lords name was dracula?!?!??! it was written as romanian alphabet but i dont remember now....so ottomas conqured romania and took that lord and killed him in front of public buy using a wooden stick as punishment of drinking blood.....so thats how vampire legends began....

the legend is based on voda ( title much like 'stadhouder', leader of a small nation and army ) vlad tepes, who was also nicknamed 'dracula' ( the dragon) as a mockery of the nickname he gave himself: 'dragula' ( the loved/respected one ), he was the leader of transsylvania ( in those days called Walachs? or something like that, "Walachije" in dutch... ) but that's not the topic of this thread, where are you from, people who havn't posted yet?

Romania, yep, and Transylvania and Latveria are fictional nations that still exist in Marvel comics ( American comics ) that really don't exist today ( well, Latveria was ALWAYS fictional, I guess. )

By the way, Taylor and I have created a General World News subforum where you guys can post any news and help us all stay aware of what's REALLY going on in the world if you want to, sometimes the news reports on TV and the newspapers can be quite biased as you know and it helps to get the perspective of people who actually know what's happening.

Im from California born in San Jose but grew up in a small place in Santa Cruz called Soquel very unknown. I dont surf, I dont drink, smoke, do drugs. I am far apart from the typical people in my town. As Santa Cruz/Soquel is notorious for having the pot smell waft around. Shit you not, I have walked down by the beach and in the Down Town Santa Cruz area and bam the smell is there. Also my town seems to be attracting all the bums...SO DAMNIT NEW YORK KEEP YOURS!!! >=(
