Oh, I bet you do. I've only lived there for 7 years, then I moved to the United States. I remember food like Peelmany and Mantee [I don't remember how to spell the foods. I just spelt it the way I pronounce it.] I miss Almaty and it's snow. I don't get much snow here in the South.

*Albany is the capital of NY not NYC, just something for non americans who didnt know that. Its quite an awful capital for one of the worlds greatest city/state. Its only good for paydays aka foodstamps(help for low income families).

ok, yeah it is. so where's "near"? Troy? Saratoga? Schenectady? somewhere in the boondocks? XD I'm about 5/8s of the way in between Albany and Utica, and i go threw there all the time. well usually go around it. the only times i go into it are usually to go to the egg (for non Albany...ians its a big civic center that looks like an egg on its side), or the Crossgates of Hell, if you count troy as part of Albany (Crossgates is the biggest mall in the area (trans=medium sized at best) and is always packed, so those of us out here call it the Crossgates of Hell)

Id consider that the capital area like many people here. Well if youve been here when you go into albany during non event days(things happening at the pepsi arena) there are hardly 5 people on each block.

Crossgates is annoying, I dislike going there. Too many little HS kids acting black when they are from a town thats 95% white lol.

im from a town of 2000 people, and i can count on one hand the amount of African, Asain, and Latin Americans here. in high school there where at least 20 white kids trying to act like each one of those groups (obvuisly, not a very big school either, but you get the idea) and failing miserably, so i know how you feel. still crossgates fills my needs: best buy has the cheapest (and biggest) selection of anime i can find, it's got a bookstore with manga now, and hot topic and fye have my music and anime toys XD. thats why i love that new rule they have. all kids below 18 must be out of there by like 8 or somthing, so i always come late at night, or in the middle of the day when there are less kids.
