Where Do You Come From?

I live up near Lake Erie so we get something called the lake effect snow which makes for some really bad winters. >_<

I've experienced it at Chicago ( lived in Illinois for a number of years, too ). I know what you mean. I still remember a lot of days where I would just be sliding around on the icy ground too XD Mom was always worried I'd slide right into Lake Erie or something...

Ohio is beautiful in the summertime but when winter hits it can get really nasty. Mainly it is the roads. For example last winter my poor car slid into the same ditch 3 times because of the snow and ice ( I was only going like 15mph I swear o_o) I also have slid off the road and almost hit telephone pole and mailboxes on a few different occasions and lets not get into the time that I did a 360 in the middle of an intersection. -_-

:hivers:: Winter time is bad for my nerves since I have to drive so much.

Roads in Eastern Tennessee can be pretty bad, too. We have to worry about a LOT of hills and to boot, bad traffic, so when the roads get icy, it can be a dicey situation. I've had a couple f friends who nearly fell off a cliff in the wintertime

I consider places I've never been to be new and different and exciting. So yes - 'exotic' to someone inexperienced like me, who has never been hardly anywhere....

i sure as hell dont consider sweden to be exotic(wonders if anyone does?)!!!! cold, raining and boooooring.

but i guess everybody feels that about their home after a while..

But our summers are great

Yeah, the summers are great, but they come in late, and dont last that long, atleast in my opinion
