Coming from Southern California, I am used to being surrounded by equally geeky otaku but seriously.... I think I am the only geeky person in Alaska that frequents message boards! I never meet anyone from Alaska even though we are the biggest state in the USA. *pout* Sometimes life is not fair. LOL

alaska might be the biggest state, but the population density is probably very very small. so do you see polar bears in alaska?

I came from the Philippines..
Not to shabby place here..but if you are a foreigner that's going to visit this place..(there would be a lot of people who will treat you like a celebrity)

alaska might be the biggest state, but the population density is probably very very small. so do you see polar bears in alaska?

Hehe... We have all the different bears in Alaska but thank god I have not seen one yet. We do however have moose in our yard CONSTANTLY which is really cool but they can be dangerous so you have to be careful. (Careful as in stay inside when they are out there unless you want to be stomped to death, literally.)

There is one anime con in AK next month and it is on;y one day but I will be going with my husband. LOL Maybe there I can meet some people. HA!

(BTW... our population is low! I live about 5 miles outside of a decent sized town (5th biggest in the state?) which has like less than 5,000 people. ^_^)

So how are the days there, casue i had a friend from Alaska and he said that for days there wouldnt be sun or it would be sunny for most of the day. He would have to sleep when it looked like it was 3 pm!

How do you adjust yourself to that?
