hehe You know genkigemini, I can't imagine living in Alaska. Probably I'm not so fond to such "beauty" Your really brave to live there, so I have a question: you moved there because you "must" or you "like" to live there? xD

Hehehe... I moved here because I wanted to live here. My family moved up here about 5 years ago and when I came on vacation, I fell in love. It is the most beautiful place on earth!!! I will post more pictures in the morning for you guys! ^_^ LOL

My real dream is to teach English in Japan but when I came back to the states, I would come back to AK. It really is like it's own little country and people in the US barely acknowledge us so it is very unique.

Honestly, the beauty is most of it. Cost of living is better than in California and I have 2 nieces and a nephew living here that I love but really, living in a place that is truly amazing to look at makes living here worth it.

The trees are starting to change now so it really looks cool and when winter comes, it is very cold but everything is heated very well and you stay inside and wear lots of layers so it is not too bad. ^_^

I think you're right about that, you're so lucky to be able to live in such a beautiful place.. ^^

Wow! That's cold... Ad I complain about the cold that we have now in Lima, but 13ºC it's nothing compared to that.

Nices pics... I would love to visit Alaska, with a nice and war jacket.
We have places here in Peru too.

OMG!... that was the temp in February! (The coldest temp was a little colder -40F but that is rare. I was just giving an example! Sorry for the confusion!)

Today it was like +70F. It is summer and just about to turn into fall as the leaves are all changing.

I want to see Peru!

Velvet, if you ever get to Alaska, be careful of those moose.

And the temprature in winter is.. ekhem.. awesome xD I know, that when in Poland is for example -10/-15 it's very, vey cooold, brrr, and I can;t even like to think to go outside from home, so I can't imagine more than -30/40 :x xD

Yeah... it is really cold but that is what anime and manga is for right. Sit at home in the heated room with tea, coffee or cocoa and read or watch to your hearts content! LOL!

See, you should all come to Alaska and I will be a tour guide.

So, Alaska update... the leaves are really starting to change now and we have lots of yellow in the trees. If the weather clears, I will take more pictures to show you guys! I saw over 20 rainbows the other day which was amazing. I had never seen so many in one hour before. (Driving from Anchorage to Wasilla after work)

Question for you guys... what is your favorite place to go in your respective countries for vacation or for relaxation time?
