PY! You come to AK and I swear to give you a place to stay. It is wonderful here! I grew up in Southern California and only moved to AK in January so I have never skied or boarded but I plan to do it this year. I more want to snowmobile and dog sled. Yes, AK has plenty o hiking! I am a lucky girl!

Alaska... where only the strong survive!

Mexico looks so nice in those pictures. I have spent a lot of time in Mexico but only Mexicali and TJ. I used to spend a week in Mexicali every year working in some of the little villages with the church I was going to.

I really wanna go to Mexico City some day. It seems like a really cool place and I love to travel.

Go to Quebec to see that girl!!!! I am sure it will go well. I wish you lots of luck!

See, living in AK is a double bladed sword. People are either like, "Oh cool! Alaska sounds neat." or they say, "Why the hell are you in Alaska? Move back to Los Angeles!"

I love it here! Everyone should visit. I have almost been here a year now but I swear I am never moving outside of the state!

Yeah we have quite afew sking resorts and well you can ski everywere where there are snow:P at a ski resort, the forest, the city....

but not only the winter and snow is nice the summer to! We got the only real zoo in the town were i live it frekkin awsome! and ofc the Quart Festival the largest music festival in norway and if you go trou the city you see many local(and some national) celebs all the time:P

About your earlier post, i've never experienced real snow, i've been to Mt. Bulla (I think, i live in Victoria, Melbourne) but it was during a time where there was no snow, so it was all artificial ;__;

Man made snow(they don't like to call it artificial anymore) is really not much different from natural snow. Except that it is a little less soft. and to me, it seems to melt into more water when squished, as opposed to forming into ice. But that could just be my imagination.

That's awesome I actually had relatives living in Alaska, although they moved back to North Carolina. They lived in a place called Skagwat, and they could only get out of there by flying or shipping. I thought that was funny when I heard about it. Apparently, my cousin Paige didn't like that, though - she was very homesick, so she and her husband (who moved there for business reasons) came back. But it was a very beautiful place from the pictures I saw.

Haha. Do you also call it "Little Rhody" there? I just found out a couple of months ago that Rhode Island actually had the longest name of any state in the US.

State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.

Smallest state, yet the longest name.
