I can't recall if this has ever been mentioned, but has it been said if the warrior hometown is located inside or outside the wall. I know one would think inside the wall because they would be constantly besieged by Titans if they weren't. Plus when the Recon Corps did figure out RB were the colossal and armored titan they figured it out because they knew they were from the same village as Annie which indicates they know about this village (unless they all simply pretended to be from another village in the wall).
However there are a few things that make me believe their village is outside of the wall. First and foremost RBA are expert shifters they know how to use their powers quite well which indicates they not only have extensive training but they have practiced using their forms quite often which is something I doubt they would have the luxury of doing inside of the wall. Also when they RB first attacked the Bert was outside of the wall and at that time he was not in the Recon Corps so I don't think he would have had 3DMG and its not likely they would have just let some kid outside of the wall either. Also when RB and their comrade were attacked by Ymir it was mentioned that Ymir was wandering outside of the wall for 60 years before she regained her humanity and Bert and Reiner did mention it was like that for them too so it was likely they were attacked outside of the wall.
So my conclusion is that the village is located outside of the wall and RBA were able to infiltrate during the chaos they caused during the fall of Wall Maria. Their village must either be in a very remote location that is either: walled outside, surrounded by terrain that titans can't navigate through (perhaps mountains), underground or they routinely send shifters out to clear the area and also to master their titan powers.
Anybody else have any thoughts, theories?
