Predictions Who goes down first

From first to last, who do you think would go down first in the fight between 7 DS vs Acnologia.

Of course, the fight may go very well in a different route that whatever we have on mind now seeing how Hiro's mind works.

But let's say this goes down in a conventional fight, who do you think would fall down and the last man standing among the 7 DS?

Of course Natsu would be the last man standing. But for the other 6?

Cobra is not main character or anyone friend or relative...so Cobra is one-shotted

Realistically every dragon slayer besides Laxus (due to speed) should get blitzed and one shotted like Acno did to God Serena but that won't happen because of plot armor. If I had to give my honest opinion, none of them will go down because they will all finish off Acno with friendship dragon slayer unison raid that will somehow burn Acno's ability to eat magic.

Laxus is fast no doubt but even his speed gets dwarfed by human Acnologia's speed.Human Acnologia at once blitzed August,God Serena and Jacob and Ripped right through Serena's abdomen in one swipe with his bare hand alone before they could even notice.

In a conventional fight, probably the 2nd generation dragon slayers will go down first, so that would include Cobra and Laxus. (The coolest ones)

The 1st and 3rd generation dragon slayers actually have parent dragons relevant to their life... so knowing the way Mashima writes, it will probably give them extra power or motivation to defeat Acnologia.


I don't see their fight against Acnologia having anything to do with "power ranking" or "strongest man is the last one standing" type of deal.

To me, it seems like "whoever has the best human-dragon relationship" will become the main person to bring down Acnologia..

If I had to guess, that's probably the most likely scenario.. based off of Mashima's track record anyways.

Not only will the 1st generation DS be influenced by their parent dragons, but they're all also a member of FT. And as we all know, Fairy Tail usually gets the last shot against the final villain.



The only thing I'm hoping for is that Mashima tones down on all the "internal/spiritual guidance" type of scenes.

For example, the dragon slayers looking inside their hearts & souls to receive an "emotional power-up" from their parent dragons would be an absolute mess.

I don't mind when characters reminisce their past to get a rush of adrenaline, but I hate it when blind faith is involved.

First to go is probably Cobra. He's not a member of Fairy Tail, not raised by a dragon, and the weakest. This is assuming any of them goes down at all.

It's a toss-up whether Sting+Rogue or Laxus goes next. Laxus is a member of Fairy Tail and arguably stronger, but Sting and Rogue were raised by dragons and have more storyline significance against Acnologia. Gajeel and Wendy are pretty safe, given their MC status. Natsu will probably be the one to deal the final blow, so he's safe as well.

Realistically all of them including Laxus should go down zero difficulty the second the whistle is blown - if Acnologia was superlative before he should be incomparable now.

As for who goes down first, I'd be very surprised to see any actual deaths, but I'd say there's an equal chance it could be any of them except Natsu that gets KOd first.

But yeah, I am expecting the parent dragons to play a role in the upcoming fight against Acnologia... Although, I wouldn't mind if the dragon slayers actually beat Acnologia by themselves. It would be a great chance to show how effective dragon slaying magic is against actual dragons.

As for Gajeel being able to use DF on his own... I'm still not sure about that.

He hasn't activated it since his battle with Bloodman. And we don't know if the MBPs he absorbed were permanent or temporary. I would imagine that he needs DF against Acnologia though..

In my opinion, this depends on how smart Acnologia plays this.

In a scenario where he is smart, he should go for Wendy. She can heal the other Slayers and enchant them, meaning Acno will have a much harder time putting all of them in the ground. On top of this, he should hold somewhat of a grudge against Wendy since she escaped his clutches the first time.

In a scenario where Acno is stupid, it's likely he'll go for Cobra or Laxus. The main reason for this being that both of them are 2nd generation Dragon Slayers, they weren't part of the 400 year plan. Now this isn't to say that they won't contribute, I think everyone is at least going to hit Acno once, but since they weren't part of the original group, I just don't see them going down after Sting or Rogue.
