As the title says, who do you think has more potential, Itachi, or Sasuke?
Here's what I'm seeing for each person to determine their potential:
Itachi:
-Graduated Ninja Academy at the top of his class at the age of 7
-Mastered Sharingan at age 8
-Chunin at age 10
-Anbu Captain at age 13
-Attained mangekyo sharingan at the age of 13 (when he killed his best friend)
-Was invited to join the elite Akatsuki criminal organization
Sasuke:
-Graduated Ninja Academy at the top of his class at the age of 11 (assuming 11 because that was a year before he became a genin with team 7)
-First used sharingan (unknowingly) at the age of 7, when Itachi massacred the Uchiha clan
-First knowingly used sharingan at age of 12 (against Haku), and later mastered (to three tomoe) later in the same year (at the VOTE)
-Never became a chunin, but Genma acknowledged him to be basically chunin level at age of 12 during the chunin exams
-Was invited by Orochimaru to train with him
I personally think Itachi is the one with the better potential, seeing all he did at an early age, but because of Sasuke's childhood (of pain), I think Sasuke could surpass him simply because all that pain that he suffered made him stronger.
What's your opinion on the matter?
