I have yet to see a discussion/prediction thread on this. So I'm going on ahead and making one.
I always notice much talk on who is going to die, who is actually dead, and who could still be alive.
Hot character mortality topics are: Kaneki, Hide, and Shirazu. (And currently Akira at the time of writing this)
Hide might be alive, or dead. Everything involved was off-screen and unconfirmed. There is lots to speculate, including the mysterious hospital patient, and the possibility that Hide is a ghoul/Washu/clown.
Kaneki's future is more or less looking pretty grim. With new information popping up on low lifespans, his eyes going bad, and repeatedly getting critically injured, will Ishida give him that Tragic ending? Or will Kaneki be able to survive the end of the manga?
Shirazu is also shrouded with mystery. He presumably died on screen, but his body was taken and brought to the hands of the madman, Dr. Kanou. Was he brought back? Will he be a zombie? Has his body been dumped? Or is his lifeless body still sitting on Kanou's table?
I am very interested in everyone's predictions. Who do you think will survive the world of Tokyo Ghoul? Feel free to provide any chapter links, or pictures. And feel free to include any of the characters from the manga.
