Jelamet, Ludociel, Sariel, and Tarmiel all recognized it as Mael's power. Elizabeth likely kept it hidden for the sake of plot, that's all.
You'd think so, but maybe its only familiar if you've possessed one yourself, maybe its not something you can normally sense at all. Or maybe she just didnt connect the dots because she doesnt carefair point. But wouldn't the feeling of the grace be familiar?

That sounds more like it creates a plothole then trying to hide a twist. (jelmet sensed it)You'd think so, but maybe its only familiar if you've possessed one yourself, maybe its not something you can normally sense at all. Or maybe she just didnt connect the dots because she doesnt care

She wouldn't be like huh, that power of escanor's is familar, where have I felt it before? Could have just been one frame.This.
Elizabeth never expressed shock at the display or mention of the graces.
At the conference room where everyone was shocked about Escanor having "Maels grace" - Elizabeth had a blank expression.
When Sariel and Tarmiel used their Graces? Elizabeth once again had a blank expression to seeing them.
Since fodder Goddesses and even enemy demons seem to be aware of the graces, I'm not sure why we are questioning whether or not the princess of the Goddess Clan is aware of them.
Elizabeth seems very knowledgeable of her own clan and it's powers, she just holds her tongue quiet a lot.
How is it irresponsible for Elizabeth?Dude let's not try to smear Liz's character. I'm kinda just getting sick of those who pooped on her or place her on a pedestal.

That sounds irresponsible for a princess of her clan.
It's a problem of her not recognizing it and more not even getting a inkling of familiarity to it.

It's a plot hole.Odds are it's probably just a plot hole. That or she just never really was on the battlefield with Mael to sense the graces presence. Which makes sense because of the whole I don't like fighting philosophy of hers
True, havent read the side story Jelmet appears in, whats it called? But if she sensed it then my theory goes out the window. I suppose its feasible that Elizabeth never spent any time around Mael while Sunshine was active, he'd likely be on the battlefield whenever the sun is up, and even Ludociel couldnt sense Sunshine from night Esscanor. That sounds more like it creates a plothole then trying to hide a twist. (jelmet sensed it)

One makes Elizabeth both a idiot and the bad guy in the current situation or Nakaba is slipping. I go with option one.Plot hole
or
Elizabeth just doesn't care about anything not Meliodas
Why is it necessary for her to say or indicate anything about it?One makes Elizabeth both a idiot and the bad guy in the current situation or Nakaba is slipping. I go with option one.
The fact that its been torturing night Escanor his entire life, or the possibility the AA might come try to kill Escanor for it. If she knew, not telling anyone would be terrible and stupidWhy is it necessary for her to say or indicate anything about it?
Because her not noticing anything is really dumb. The fact it didn't even feel familiar is odd.Why is it necessary for her to say or indicate anything about it?
Escanor gave no indication of suffering to it to them. How is it terrible and stupid? What sake does it serve to be called stupid? The fact that its been torturing night Escanor his entire life, or the possibility the AA might come try to kill Escanor for it. Why? Even after the fact she gave no reaction. It was consistent. Why was that dumb? I can’t quite grasp your reason.Because her not noticing anything is really dumb. The fact it didn't even feel familiar is odd.
She regained her memories and she didn't feel the power of her own mother being used by Escanor?Escanor gave no indication of suffering to it to them. How is it terrible and stupid? What sake does it serve to be called stupid?

Ah you said “not noticing” is that it? In that case, she gave no indication that she hadn’t, as stated before.

But it could have been forshadowed. (he forshadowed the demon king using Hawk as a proxy by drawing a miniature of him in hawks eye during a group panel. No way Nakaba wouldn't forshadow Escanor's grace in the same instance.)You guys here are making her being the bad guy or whatever as if Nakaba made a panel of Elizabeth thinking "hey that's Sunshine but Im not saying it lol" or as if somehow she knew Escanor suffered and still didn't give a damn.
You're overthinking this too much. Yes Elizabeth is extremely naive but people put her as if she did something unforgivable. The "Sunshine is a grace" plot wasn't for that moment, that's all.
Yes I think it could've been foreshadowed too, in fact that moment would've been correct to mention it, but that's Nakaba making a plot hole or he just wanted Ludo to notice Sunshine because he's the brother of the one who had the grace, which is far more different and deep than making Elizabeth pointing it in a single panel. But it could have been forshadowed. (he forshadowed the demon king using Hawk as a proxy by drawing a miniature of him in hawks eye during a group panel. No way Nakaba wouldn't forshadow Escanor's grace in the same instance.)
She regained her memories and she didn't feel the power of her own mother being used by Escanor?
Except their was no indication that she had.

The blade of rhitta the appearance of the SD, were these not your foreshadowing? Why does this responsibility fall on elis head? Mel gave no indication of his knowledge of gowther. Merlin gave no indication of her relation to Eli. But you could connect it when the reveal came.If Ludoshel was able to tell that the graces would kill a human even though humans have never used graces in the past, I think Elizabeth would know as well. Even Gowther knew and Merlin knew there were problems with the grace since edinburgh.
I really don’t care whether Elizabeth alerts Escanor or not, but one would think she would let him know about the dangers. Or at least mention it’s origin as that could lead to Merlin making a scientific breakthrough for Escanor due to having new information. Either way a notification seems like basic decency.
Ludociel knew Sun was destroying him, assuming Elizabeth knows anything about graces(if she's just ignorant, then perhaps she doesnt even know Sunshine's a grace), would likely know as well.Escanor gave no indication of suffering to it to them.
Not sure what you mean when you say "what sake does it serve to call her stupid", but as for why her not revealing such information is terrible and stupid, its because it means that she:How is it terrible and stupid? What sake does it serve to be called stupid?.
