Discussion Why Jahad stopped climbing the tower?

Jahad and the other great family leaders gave up on climbing the tower after reaching the 135th floor, something that at least on Jahad's case seems out of character. He was an adventurus type that wouldn't give up so easily. There is one small but important detail though that might give us a hint of what have happened, Arlene and V didn't gave up climbing! Instead they were both percecuted by the rest of the family leaders and the road to the next floor was sealed for everyone by Jahad!
So what might have happened for the above events to make sense? Imo probably the test in that floor was possible to pass only for the two of them, something that hurt everyone elses pride, especially Jahad who wanted to be the king of the tower and they prohibited them from moving forward alone without them, or anyone else for the matter! They sealed the floor tight so that noone else could move forward since they couldn't either and percecuted those two that could move higher than them on the tower. This might have been that cruel fate that Jahard spoke of that seeked to overcome, he could never achieve what he wanted to achieve conquering the whole tower and have the only woman he loved by his side.
For the test being possible to pass only for those two my guess is that the others lacked something that was needed. Those two seemed to be the only ones that showed compassion towards others so the test was probably of whether someone lost himself or not in the process of climbing that high in the tower, something that seems extremely difficult to achieve. So there was no way for Jahad and the currently known family leaders to ever pass that floor and out of jealousy and spite they didn't let anyone else climb higher than they could either! My guess is that is also the reason that Gustang said V was the worst person he knew, perhaps his choice to continue climbing the tower on his own with Arlene and the events that followed that choice, he basically blamed V for everything that followed his choice. Because we know from data Edwan that in reality V was a better person than them.

So that is my take on how things might have unfolded based on the info we have right now, basically trying to make some sense out of it. Plz share your own thoughts of what you think happened below!

If i remember correctly it was mentioned that he couldn’t get pass the guardian of that floor, it is a bit hard to deal with, hence why he’s stuck there.

My somewhat rought theory is that the 13 warriors had a purpose in climbing the tower. Maybe it was just the adventure or they were on some sort of a quest. The workshop supported them through unknown means. But when zahard reached the top he changed his mind regarding his objective. He wanted to meddle with fate, become a god. Probably because the arlen stuff made him realize that as awesome as he was he still couldn't get everything he wanted. So he became king in pursuit of his godhood. I daresay that having children goes as far as being a risk to his godhood. Maybe having a child will result in said child eventually becoming king. Hence how bam is a prince of the tower.

I think its the demon who corrupted his heart. data jahad was respectfull when he fought Bam. His grins was making him a interesting character

The GoG implied this when he said that Zahard gave in to the power inside himself.

Good theories ! I’m along the lines that at the very top of the tower the challenges are too hard , the guardian too strong to beat without teamwork and zahard had already reached a power point where he was stronger than everyone beneath him , and their relationships had started to fall apart . Or another is Perhaps something very dangerous is at the top and Zahard is trying to protect everyone under some twisted logic .
