Wich is better for a story?

Hi ^^ im new to the forum,well kind of i've been around this site for a long time and decided to make and account.

first of,my english sucks xDD,now moving on to my question:

i have a story,like a prologue,main plot and even the ending,cause i plan to make a one-shot manga(if i can call it like that,i think is going to have four long chapters or so.and it will be black and white.) the thing is i allways loved animals,mithology and such,im a fan of a lot of hayao miyasaki's work so it gets in to my art xD and so the characters are anthro(anthropomorphic animals) my brother says it will not work because of that but i think that its ok as long as a story is good it dosen't matter if your characters are rocks! theres a lot of comics without humans and they are great ^w^.


what do you think? should i change the characters? or leave it like that and go ahead?

Of course you shouldn't give up because your characters are anthro, no way o_O

Your concept art is pretty good, and there's a anthro scene out there, many fans and all. And of course, as long as your story and characters are strong, there's no way it'll be bad! Keep it up!

Nice designs! You can definitely make a story out of it. But some questions I already have are: Why does the mounting beast allow the main character to ride it? They are friends, but is that reason enough? Are both of them equal?
Definitely things I would like to get answered, when reading the story to the characters. Would be really interested to see it happening.

I would like to see how you draw real people,because i always hated animal-like characters.It's really a shame because you seem to be really good at drawing,that's why i'm curious about how you draw real people.^^

Anyway,as long as the story is good the characters shouldn't be too big a problem.
So do you have a plot allready?Or a general idea of what you want to do?

oh im not that bad at drawing humans, i just like to draw animals more than people.

These are pretty good. Don't give up. You might want to use a style similar to TwoKinds, if you've heard of it.
