Will we have more timeskips?

At this point I feel like the story needs at least one more timeskip so Baam can catch up power wise and explore more the Tower and understand what he will do and why. I have no idea how SIU will do it however. A short timeskip doesn't seem enough. I'm not sure we have time for multiple timeskips (we got two in 10+ years). A longer timeskip is possible, but even if takes Baam 100 years to reach the top of the tower (and assuming he will be ready in 100 years), I doubt any of his friends would be able to do this in less than 500 years.

Anyway, just wanted to know your opinion about the subject

I think you underestimate the sheer speed at which bam grows. When part 3 started bam pretty much struggled with rankers when using no upgrades. He had his victories against rankers but they were somewhat situational (say, the houndborn he fought couldn't use transformation). Nowadays in turn he held his own against aria, who is a high ranker division commander.

I am not sure of how you can not have time for a timeskip. The purpose of a timeskip is to skip the times you don't have time for.

Nah, it won't take bam 100 years to reach the top unless something extraordinary happens. The gang has been at it... maybe 15 years? And are over a third of the way up. We will likely still see a few years at a time being skipped in the story between arcs as we have seen so far. I wouldn't be surprised if bam beats urek's time to climbing the tower.

To me the bigger question is whether the story ends once bam reaches floor 134. Or if we perhaps get an arc or two with him as a ranker who climbed the tower. We also have yet to see what his victories over multiple rankers mean in regards to him becoming a ranker. He passed the ranking administration test which in theory should give him a rank... But so far the story has not addressed that tidbit. And he could potentially walk out of this arc or the next with the head of a top 300 high ranker on his belt. Which should also net him a spot in the top 300.

I agree. A timeskip after we/Baam understand more about the Tower, its politics, what is at stake and who are the major players besides de FHs would be much better.

I don't remember if a number was mentioned but I do recall it being said that she climbed relatively quickly. We do know that urek climbed the tower in about 50 years which is pretty much in line with what the gang is doing.

It's extremely unlikely that his team will reach HR level by the time they finish climbing the tower. I give the part of the gang that has learned their shinsoo attributes a decent chance of becoming ranker level a few dozen floors before 134 though. Rak also has a weird situation since his power has not apparently been fully released yet so who knows how strong he can become by simply having the seal on his power broken.

I would maintain that shinsoo qualities within the grand scheme of things are a pretty big deal. Bam's friends to begin with were well above average when it comes to their rank's peers. Add in shinsoo attributes and to me it doesn't sound like a stretch that their overall power is a class or two ahead of most of their peers. Even fucking miseng was able to easily beat up d class regulars at the final station... As in, D class regulars who rode the hell train and passed every trial.

The nest arc was supposed to be end of Part 2, so I'm expecting a big timeskip after it just like what we had after Part 1.
I think we'll come back years later to see how what happened during the nest will have affected the tower.
With Bam probably an official Slayer (or at least a Slayer candidate with the full back up of FUG), etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if right after the nest, we skip right to Floor 77 or right before it.

We have seen that shinsoo attributes can be extremely specific... It's very likely that neither ran or yihwa have found them yet. Ran for one has not displayed a shape. Add to that, if he had the full breath of his shinsoo attributes he probably wouldn't have struggled against anak. Yihwa still has some manner of trouble controlling her flame. At a minimum she can't access its full power at will. Which also suggests she hasn't found a shape that suits her. We know for a fact that finding the attributes that suit you makes shinsoo easier to control.

Clearly androsi's shinsoo attribute is exceptional... Clearly we are not reading the same series in this regard. Even white was surprised by it. Add to that, I am not suggesting the gang will become high ranker level through their climb. I suggested they could get ranker level simply earlier than regulars normally would. Rather than, say, floor 133 it would happen at floor 100. Add to that we also know that it's not unusual for princesses to get ranker level before they finish their climb. Hypothetically speaking, bam's friends were strong D class regulars during the hidden floor... perhaps above that... Add in shinsoo qualities and perhaps they'd be strong C class regulars or even comparable to B class regulars. So... even if there is an S class above the A class, the gang is probably at the strength level they would be some 20-30 floors higher.

Yes, because otherwise everyone here (to include SIU himself) will be long dead before Baam gets 2/3 up the Tower at present rate.
