You vote for the character you like.

Gin is more likeable than Bonney or Kinemon. Just because you might not view Gin or any character in a "popular" light doesn't mean everyone has to follow suit.

Not everyone's favorite character will be the most popular pick or even the most recent characters introduced. People like who they like, thats it.

You know what, among all that I forgot about Carrot ranking so high lol. I think Greg explained it best; that there's an obsession with furries among some of the fandom and the west in general LOL.

The area ranking are interesting though; Nami ranking 1st the same amount times as Luffy. And also looking at Japan, there's not much in it between Zoro and Luffy. Also Oceania top 5 is just women

That's not true, one time Law beat Zoro than Zoro beat Sanji. It changes but not too much. Minus Luffy being first place which he earns he's just so boss of a character. Even world wide fans love him

For all that complaining about the Oda not focusing on the SH's more you'd think the Top 10 would only be SH's. The people have spoken Oda we love Law and I guess CARROT too LOL!!!

Carrot was with Team Luffy for the entire cake arc I guess. I get Law though, he did amazing feats in the time skip and had tons of focous since punk hazard arc. I hope it continues, Law is I think my second favorite character. I found him ok when he was first introduced and thought Kid was going to be an important player, loved his design. Boy was I wrong.

Damn, Nami went super saiyan mid February. Her fans really came together and got it done.

The Nami growth was absolutely insane. Looks like Zoro fans also came out hot out the blocks but Luffy had enough momentum to get him to 1st place and stay there. Ace also started out quite high.

To be fair, Nami has one of the best character developments of the SHs.
Especially, when she was ready to die instead of denying Luffy would become Pirate King.
Other SHs said/declared something a kin to that, but they fougth on equal footing, while Namj would haven been killed.
