Yeah, Doumeki's establishment of staying with Watanuki is what is granting his wish not to be constantly glomped by the supernatural. A roundabout and conditional method, but it works. The real mystery is, indeed, the cut-off point of when Watanuki's debt is paid by his work in the shop.

Depending on what's going on with the shop right now... it may be just as conditional. My guess, is that as long as he wants one thing (supernatural not dogging him), he must continue to do the other (work at the shop). If he stopped working at the shop, then something might happen that would get him dogged again. Or his debt is already paid and the shop is now disappearing. I hope neither though; don't want anything happening to Doumeki, and Watanuki seems like he'd be a splendid shopkeep and content to keep helping people there. (just that it's better with Yuuko-tachi there!)

Honestly I kinna mess up with the story of Tsubasa now...and is it Watanuki the son of Siao Lang and Sakura(both from CCS one)?and before got a chapter is shown a pic of Watanuki in child with his parents right?I can't get it...what it actually mean here?

Somehow I think (rather deepley wishes) that we will found out about Yuko`s and Clow`s relationsship in the coming chapters.

The shop can't disappear yet, it needs to be there for the "day that is to come". Whichever day that is.

Did Watanuki see Yuuko before what we see in chapter 1? He must have had some knowledge of her as she must have took him to his parents after FWR took RShaoran away.

Is Watanuki's tru wish different to the wish we here in chapter 1?

I could be wrong, but wasn't it mentioned that he knew Yuuko before the series started? But then paid the price, in the form of his memories, to help the people in TRC?

I think watanuki has changed from how he was at the very beginning, and his true wish would be something a little deeper than just having the spirits go away.

Where's it mentioned he already knows Yuuko? Because he'd know her through body memories, wouldn't he? Seeing as she was there when he came into existence.
I dunno if that's relevant to the point.

Watanuki paid all of his memories as a price to Yuuko he'd almost certianly have met her then. Remember this scene in TRC? If I remember correctly, one of the implications of that scene is that Watanuki was paying that price or helping to but now that I read it again I don't see that implied anywhere in the scene. The whole R!Syaoran/Watanuki price dynamic puzzles me. There's so much trade off between them (starting with "don't dissappear") and it's all so vague as to what exactly the details of it all are. Particularly what exactly Watanuki gave up his memories as a price for. I really want to know the details of that negotiation. . .

Here's the scene where Yuuko mentions Watanuki paid a price to make his wish come true "For the sake of the two futures". As for what Watanuki's wish was, well, I'm sure we'll find out someday.

Oh, one thing I've noticed in xxxHolic is that a double border on a frame means it's a flashback. Took me long enough to figure it out

Interesting... So he's come to the shop before? And why would his wish be for the sake of two futures... That's his parents thing. Maybe it just linked in or something.

I'm also blanking about what price R!Syaoran paid Yuuko to save Watanuki after he fell out the window.

I don't think they ever specifically mention what R!Syaoran's price was.

If that's the case, either it's left up to interpretation, or it'll be revealed later.

I always got the impression that it was time. R!Syaoran sacrificed time to be in the tube, and Watanuki would certainly need a great deal of time to heal, and it didn't seem to take that much time to heal in the manga (although that doesn't mean it didn't actually take a long time).

Could be totally wrong on that interpretation though.

I thought "freedom and time" was what he paid as a price to wind back time and I agree 100% on the "it'll be revealed later" front.

Mmm... don't want to sound pessimistic, but...
goin back and rereading some of the first chapters when Yuko talks about Clow Reed and the Wand, she mentions something like: '"comrade, we will soon have a lot of time to spend together"- refering to Clow.
this is creeping me out! could this mean that she's actually GOING to die???? PLEASE NO! Yuko dont die!!!!!

- What if Yuuko will become a "client" of Watanuki?
- What if Watanuki's dream world is now the "reality"?
- Is Yuuko's MIA also a "payment" for sake of Watanuki's wish to "stay" AND inherit the shop to grant wishes to others?
- The egg which Domeki is holding on to... What's inside? Black Mokona's ear ring? Watanuki's watch?

Killing Clamp won't bring Yuuko back. . .

We have 10 days before the next xxxHolic chapter, it's crazy thought time.

Watanuki's watch isn't inside the egg. . . We saw it in the scene when Yuuko reflects on the circumstances of Watanuki's existence.

Yuuko a client of Watanuki. That is a very interesting theory. He did say in 144 during the most beautiful scene in all of TRC/xxxHolic that he wanted to grant her wish. I will most definitely be holding that thought.
