With the whole FWR and clow thing... my theory is that Watanuki was orginally the son of Yuuko and Clow, but they had to give him up in order to restore time. But, i think that Clow somehow made it so that Yuuko would still be able to be with Watanuki, hence her super motherly actions toward him, and Watanuki's resemblence of both Yuuko and Clow.

I agree with xxxTsubasa. I think Clow accidentally wished Yuuko to live forever, so she would meet Watanuki someday in the time loop. It makes sense.

I don´t agree with that, because when Watanuki first asks Yuuko if Clow was someone close to her she made such a face like Clow was a nuisance or something :P... Also, When Eriol is back in CCS he stays with that Mizuki sensei person, and she doesn´t resemble Yuuko at all...

Bookology-saaaan, actually, Watanuki asked Yuuko if she was related to Clow. And her reaction seems to make it a kind of love-hate relationship with Clow. Like, she loves him, but readily insults him but in a cute kind of way. (There are relationships like that out there ^_^ )

i don't agree with that theory at all! Watanuki, is in all essances, Syaoran. and that's that. (i do agree with ClowxYukko tho. ) and wasn't part of Wata-chan's bargain something about not ageing? so that means that he CAN'T physically be Butt-Chin.

OMG> i think i just figured it out. read the last line Doumeki says a few more times. he says "there is sno more nessesity to use this. at least, i can't use it on him." I think the egg has the same power as the wish that Watanuki just made, cbout not ageing and stuff. so, doumeki will use it on himself? i mean, can you really picture Watanuki living there for the hundredish years it'll take for Yuuko to be reborn all by himself? (i'm guessing 100, cuase that's how long it was in WISH.) Doumeki, being Doumeki, will want to stay at Watanuki's side. (shoot me DouWata haters, but that's how it's going to be. ) that's what i originally thought the egg was for, a method to semi-imortality. and if Watanuki no longer needs it, then the ultimate choice is Doumeki's to make. ??? *is excited to see what happens on monday*

waoh! i forgot about the rain in tokyo, but half of that egg was also Wata-chan's, right? so if Watanuki's egg is the something will be born from this, then Doumeki's is the something will live on with this?

That totally makes sense. And it sounds SO much like Clow.

As for that egg, I really have no idea. Since "nothing" comes out of it, like I said previously that it could be something non substantial, like a feeling? Time? I think it's time. Time seems to be a main factor in both xxxHolic and TRC, so that's what I believe it is. Or memories. something like that, at least.

For me, it was a tight between Watanuki and the mokonas (they're so funny). But I like the other characters as well.

I chose Watanuki. He'd sacrifice himself in order to save others. That's nice.

I can't wait either! I heard TRC is ending in two chapters..but I hope xxxHolic won't! It doesn't make any sense for it to end so soon. Which means it'll continue! Wohoo!

On clampnow livejournal i've found a shocking announcement

On Young Magazine's current issue page, xxxHolic is listed as xxxHOLiC・籠 (Rou = Cage) as if it were a new title. It is usually listed like the other series with a link to the series page, but it stands out as something different this time.

It looks like there will be a four (!) years timeskip...

kay guys, the usual scanner for xxxholic andtrc is gone for the nextfew weeks, so we need to find people to get the scans for us, especially for Holic. i managed to dig up the ones for trc after a long search, and a rough trans of it, but i can't find 186 for holic.

The only thing I can think of, is maybe the Tsubasa crew will get dumped into Watanuki's world, and they'll all be there together. (That'd sure be fun! Though... maybe not that simple )
