Its like the saying "let the dead rest in peace," only, in japan, the people actually will.

If the mom dies, all the letters and negative media will stop, forfilling that part of the wish.

Kahone won't be all too happy, but the mom will (hopefully) get some rest, unless she did murder her husband...then she's going to have a very painful and unhappy afterlife.

but Kohane mentioned that she wanted happiness for herself and for her mum to slowly recognize her...so if the mum dies, Kohane won't be that happy and the mum (not sure she will realize it in the end) probably still remain the same...Kohane had given up her power in exchange for her wish so I don't think anything would go wrong for her...

Yeah, I reckon that if Kohane does give up her powers, that will solve all her problems. One, she'll have a peaceful life, since the media won't care about her and her mum anymore, two, because now that she's no longer 'special', the mum will actually care for her, and not be so reserved around her, and three, her mum might be able to atone for her sins through the power of a certain witch...

I agree...mainly because I think Kohane's mum seriously needs time to cool down and think things over properly...if Kohane returns home immediately, who knows what the mother would do?

Probably beat Kohane up for leaving the house without telling her about where she was going. I agree that Kohane should stay with Yuuko though, the mum and her both need time away from each other. I want some TRC references in the coming xxxHolic chapters though, since TRC is nearing the finale, it'll be nice to see the two storylines sorta merging together.

I agree, it'll be kind of interesting to see these two clamp manga works merge as one...for xxxholic, the arc about Kohane seems to be ending soon...so maybe after this arc, I think xxxholic would probably have TRC references in it's storyline...

Yeah, I wonder if kohane would get involved in any after this arc ends; we need to see whether or not watanuki is going to be any help to syaoran and co.

Don't see how he is gonna help them.... Since Yuuko did say in TRC that she could no longer give them any advice or help once they reached Clow Country. Another one of my predictions for the next arc is that the shop is slowly collapsing, and Watanuki goes to try and save it.

Great Chapter.

Kohane finally gave up her powers and apparently it's caused by the feather... To be honest I never saw that coming. I kinda considered her like Watanuki, someone who just has weird powers. I guess that makes Watanuki unique then, I guess.

Makes one wonder though that maybe Watanuki is made from a feather or is like Kohane-chan. But I really doubt that.

Also did Kohane-chan grow older at the end? She looked taller to me.

Oh now that you mention it I didn't even notice the crossover >.> I guess I just got used to it from reading both together that it seemed natural to do so. What I want to know is Kohane-chan going to stay with Watanuki or not?

She will stay for maybe a day or so while she's still recovering from paying the price, but then since the rumors are gone and her wishes fulfilled (partly anyways) she probably will go back.

Kohane will have to wait...like Yuuko said. It's not like these things would go away overnight, especially her relationship with her mother...I guess that she would stay for a few weeks or so before returning home. I'm predicting that in the next chapter Watanuki would be sent by Yuuko to somehow give the feather back to Sakura...in any means possible.
