Maybe Kisame had a way to fake the body, since he had tons of chakra. His reaction is the only reason why I think he might not be dead. But it can't have been a bunshin like you said.
This fight could have been epic. Kisame with his high chakra could have known lot of jutsu, and he could have been good at taijutsu, against Killerbee.

Fuuton and Raiton....the shape, the damage, the flexibility, the varying range at which they can hit the target, etc. And most of all, I think the two can be used in variety and effective ways. Like Asuma using those knuckles with wind chakra, Naruto using Rasengan and thrown FRS is another example of the range it can cover. Sasuke, Kakashi, and Raikage using Raiton in a different manner, also shows the versatility. I hope you get my point.

I know other elements may do the same, but its more of personal liking.

Sasuke used raiton different manner? I thought he used chidori in different manner. And raiton/chidori at one point as a lightning rod.

Chidori is formed by channeling lightning-based chakra in one's hand. So the core of chidori is Raiton, isn't it? Or am I forgetting something.

Chidori is raiton. What I was saying is that we've seen Sasuke use mainly variants of chidori, one raiton jutsu. We saw Kakashi use around three raiton jutsu, raikiri (powerful version of chidori), raikage bunshin no jutsu, and that raiton dog attack. My point was that Sasuke used variants of one raiton jutsu.

Naruto is cool it can get a bit cheesy at times, but overall I think its good!
