Whistle 1-10

Peacemaker Kurogane 1-3 (they haven’t released anymore)
Angel Sanctuary 1-2 (worst purchase ever!)
Demon Diary 1-4 (then it took a turn for the worse)

After that, I have assorted vol 1s of things I bought and never liked – like Samurai Deeper (lame), Excel Saga (didn’t get the humour), Get Backers, Jing King of Bandits (great art, confusing story) and Lament of Lamb among many others.

Blade of the Immortal is what I am most proud of owning and Kenshin will be my very first complete series.

you are right. a chinese volume usually consist of 8 chapters
and they are just two or three chapters behind the japanese ones( i mean the ones you have online).
naruto manga is currently at chapter 302 and bleach at 222
after reading 8 chapters online, you can read them again in chinese....

Re: How much manga have you bought?

Last time when I checked, I had 600+ Japanese tanko (about 10 of them are debinded for Edited Manga use) and 6~7 English ones. Japanese collection increase by at least 5 books every month... >.>

Re: How much manga have you bought?

Updated my own entry.

My RK collection is almost complete, which is nice. I'll be able to store them away and make room for more manga on my shelves.

I'm also now picking up Black Cat, and I'm intending to pick up Vagabond as well. Vagabond is just too good to not buy.

And I'd probably have 600+ tanko as well if I was living in Japan and everything was updated. But here in America we have to wait for the next 20 volumes of every series for a while *sighs* XD

Heh yeah same here. 80% of the series I own are only 40% far compared to the Japanese tankoubon count :P
And coincidentally, I'm also picking up Black Cat v1 & 2 this week. That and Kekkaishi 4 & 5, since the Edited Mangas are incredibly slow and I'd like to read more.

Store them away? GASP! Nooo! How could you? Heh. I definitely am keeping my out for show. Mate, it looks so cool to have em' all lined up like that. And yeah, just one more volume to go hey? I have all my manga on display, like the freak I am.

I would, but for space limitations

Though I might build myself bigger bookshelves at some point ^^

Re: How much manga have you bought?

*goes and checks* I have about 260 English graphic novels right now, out of 33 series (13 I am still working on, 20 finished). I don't have any tankoubons, considering I can't read any Japanese at all. I do have a couple of translated artbooks, and a small collection of alternative American comics (Sandman, Bone, and most of Jhonen Vazquez's stuff). My most prized series are probably Inu-yasha, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Maison Ikkoku, Akira, Cyborg 009, and some older out-of-print stuff like Rumic World. I really wish I could get my hands on the first volumes of Phoenix, Urusei Yatsura, and Adolf though. All the good stuff seems to go out of print so fast.
