I'm a big fan of baseball (read rookies if you want a good one that isnt exactly about baseball. Morita (rokudenashi blues) does it) and want to check out h2 but i just havent made the time for it.

Humm, here's mine:
1. Vagabond - great story (I'm a sucker for samurais) and amazing art
2. Bleach I guess, though the recent chapters haven't been so great
3. Full Metal Alchemist - so much better than the anime
4. Eyeshield 21 - it managed to engage someone who didn't care a whit for american footbal and still doesn't
5. One piece - funny and engaging, though I don't care that much for the long drawn battles
6. Blade of the immortal - really great characters and story, don't care much for the way the battle scenes are drawn
7. Berserk - again characters and story and the later art is great, very gothic. It's so low in the top because of the gratuitous violence, it renders one numb.
8. Dogs, volume 1 - here's to hoping the serialized manga will get better
9. Alichino - amazing art and intriguing story, too bad it wasn't finished
10. I guess I should put Naruto here, but only until the break. Everything after the Kakashi gaiden failed to maintain my interest. But in the end I'll go with King of thorns though no one is Editing that anymore

well from 1 to 5 they all should be on 1 ...and the rest anywhere..XDD i've read others mangas i realy like but i guess is just depend on my current mood who are my choices for this...(well haven't read blood last vampre or anything related to blood+ (i just find out that they did 3 differents mangas...so i can't add then here(since i don't find a place to download english scalations!!))
well 98% of the manga i read i consider it my favs...i think thats all...unless i remenber something else...

H2 is good too....another series that's pretty good, but no one really knows is yakitate Japan....

Dunno, I know quite a lof of people that know Yakitate. It's even one of the most downloaded series at most direct download sites. And it's even being translated officially in French, German and English starting September.

I personally adore it, one of my absolute favorite series. Hail Kawachi the Spazz!

Both volumes of it are available on scans... They're nothing compared to the anime though. And that's an understatement.

Recommend against the Samurai Champloo manga, the anime is so much better that it's not even funny.

Agreed. The cool thing about Samurai champloo is the way it's animated (IMO) and the songs etc. Without that it'll be some kind of... colorless.

One Piece (my absolute favorite)
Eyeshield 21 (I never liked american football but because of this...)
Mahou Sensei Negima (and I thought I would never like any harem-mangas)
Flame of Recca (anime is absolute crap. First half is little boring but second half is great)
Detective Conan (I love these kind of things)
Berserk (You are huge! So you must have huge guts! Rip and tear!)
Midori no Hibi (same as with FoR, anime is horrible (but only because it doesn't have enough episodes. Hell, it's even missing characters!)
Yotsuba& (What can I say? It's just so cute and funny)
Yakitate!! Japan (mocking these superhero mangas. Love it)
and Battle Angel Alita (I really don't know why I like this so much. There's something good about it)
