1. Yukimura is that guy who looks completely the opposite of what you'd think he would be on court. The first time he was introduced, he was a frail boy whom you don't even see outside the hospital, and by the end of the series, he has this complete bad ass presence with a jacket on his shoulders, a strong personality, and the skills to back up the reputation of his entire team to boot. With that kind of character and presence? This husbando is hotter than urs and you know it lmao
2. This boy brought Rikkai to Nationals with his strength, dedication, and devotion to tennis. This isn't something he did alone. He's a good leader, you all saw how his team adores him. He's able to inspire others around him to reach and win Nationals several times in a row. Apart from these traits just being really attractive in a husbando, it also means he's good at handling situations and people well, which is always a great aspect to have in a relationship and building a family C:
3. He might be harsh when it comes to giving comments but he was able to build a team that reached Nationals thrice and won twice, and to be fair, he did just come from an illness that causes muscles to atrophy and slowly takes away your body's ability to move around, so if he was able to get back from that and get into shape... well, it's not that he has a free pass to shit on others just because he came from that, but you can see where he's coming from at least. I suppose he might also just be really serious about the sport. Of course, you can also view it as him being a shitty fourteen-year-old who's rather tactless and doesn't know any better yet, but he'll learn from his mistakes when he grows up and matures after a few more years, and he'll learn to be an even better leader than he currently is, he'll learn to make better decisions, and he'll learn to handle things even better. This is to add the last point!
4. Let's talk about his time at the hospital. He stayed at the hospital for about 7 months. The kids adore him. His team adores him. That just has to say something about how he gets along with others. It was during his time at the hospital that we were able to see his dedication to keeping promises and to tennis. He just... fought the hardest out of everyone in the entire series. No matter how much the world is working against him, even if it's his own body, he simply never gives up and finds a way to make things work. That's the kind of seriousness and devotion you'll see when he's faced with something he loves, and you just know he'll be a great dad!!!
5. Yukimura comes with a best friend/childhood friend/vice captain/doubles partner/that perfect love interest to make for a good story LMAO (and to top it all off, they make two parts of after a single person, a great warrior named Sanada Yukimura) so you get to have someone to ask advice from about him and tease him with, and you'll have double the support (and double the good-looking men around) because he's always there for Yuki lol
6. Yukimura is a great sport!!! He didn't take his defeat at nationals to heart and even tried to improve himself and his team in terms of having fun while playing tennis. So if you get into a fight, he won't take it to heart and he'll even make an effort to improve himself.
7. He loves gardening and flowers!! He won't just buy you flowers, he'll plant them specially for you, complete with thought put into it. This also shows how caring and gentle he is, and just adds to the amount of dedication you can see in his character. He'll care for you, tend to you, provide for you, make sure you're healthy. This boy is preparing to be the best husbando already.
8. He's also a great scriptwriter and an art enthusiast. He knows how to appreciate art and beauty in all forms. He'll take you to art museums, paint/sketch aesthetic portaits of you, watch and comment on movies with you in great detail. He'll even geek out with you, write fanfics with you, exchange fan art with you. What more can you ask for??
9. He speaks French. He's a boy who writes award-winning essays who can teach you french and write poems and letters to you in french, which is the language of romance and is the sexiest language in bed ever tbh
10. Did I mention that he's absolutely drop dead gorgeous and probably more attractive than most of us here in real life?? Imagine all the beautiful babiesss
11. He's also a piece of shit lmao this boy here definitely has some air in his head, and if someone dares to challenge him, he would definitely act or even outright tell you that it's impossible, and it can be a little dramatic or comedic, but he'll also show you that it really is impossible afterwards. It's entertaining, endearing, and makes you a little turned on after he goes and shows off. He has the skillz to back it up and he knows it.
12. He hates talking about people behind their back, so he'd be the person who isn't too much of a coward to confront you personally. If you have a bad break up, he won't be speaking ill about you to his friends or anything.
In conclusion, Yukimura is the full package. I probably even missed a few points here and there, but all I want to show you is that he's just a young boy who's inherently good, gentle, well-rounded, and passionate. He's that dreamy leader in school who's also somewhat of an overachiever, and he's great at getting along with others. He has his flaws, sure, but he's young, and the good in him outweighs everything else.
