Discussion Zeldris, Meliodas and Estarossa

Becoming demon is ultimately a matter of power. The demon king might or not have his own preferences but clearly the situation amounts to basically PL. Enough PL and obviously your power and it's.... depth increases (hence the bit about the demon king and supreme goddess being capable of even altering death). In that regard even the demon king can be thought of as merely being an insanely powerful demon. And that is why training to become demon king was a possibility for the meliodas and is also possible for zeldris and estarosa given the time.

With that in mind, since being demon king is a mere matter of power, I would argue a potential candidate for demon king can come from any demon. You just need the potential and talent to become that strong and hold that much power. It's hard to say why the demon king specifically wants meliodas to become demon king and not the "better" sons estarosa and zeldris but I don't think the manga rules out at least zeldris becoming as powerful as the demon king by training alone considering he is also a genius.

Another interesting bit here is that perhaps meliodas, estarosa's and zeldris' age are very telling regarding their talent. Meliodas reached 142k completely on his own... And estarosa is 380 years old as far as the series has revealed. Zeldris in turn is 252 years old and has higher pl than estarosa by at least a bit. Basically zeldris more or less caught up to estarosa even though estarosa had a 130 years head start. In turn estarosa is nowhere near meliodas. And the difference between them might not even be that big....

How about another crackpot theory for estarosa..... Estarosa is kinda mostly insane. So say he beat mael for some reason.... What would he do next? I am thinking that estarosa beat mael and then proceed to eat his soul. Since mael was already dead of course there was no risk of estarosa having sunshine related problems. But since what he ate was a specially powerful goddess soul it didn't get quite digested, even over the years. So the reason estarosa is having all these dreams and connecting with elizabeth is because mael's soul which he ate currently resides within him.

So…you’re guessing. We don’t what Meliodas did to Gelda and if he did kill her do you think Zeldris is stupid and can’t put two and two together. The fact Zeldris believes in whatever Meliodas said to him means it’s possible it can happen.

Me first

Estarossa - He may or might absorb all the commandments but at the end of the day he will be back from his old self without darkness. On this state he might leave the demon world and join SDS. The old poster might be a consident because it was intentionally for Mel at his adult physique but Esta just made it factual.

Meliodas - he will be the great Meliodas govern not only the demon world but all 5 factions. He will create balance to all clans as the new demon king.

Zeldris - He will lead again the 10 commandments but this time with added firepower Chandler and Cussack.

PS: Elizabethe will replace her mother as the new SD with a Merlin and Escanor filling the void of Mael and Ludo. Sar and Tar would complete the newly 4.

I know, but I would like him to die at the hands of lancelot, since lancelot was the one who betrayed him with the love of his life and broke his friendship, so it would be excellent that when they fight (if they make it clear) lancelot killed him and took the blame for betraying his best friend with the love of his life and also killed him.

This is another what if troll theory. Estarossa have been meeting up with Ely from time to time when he was still about to control the lurking darkness within him starting to engulf his body. Estarossa never mentioned his name while meeting Ely and they begun to have mutual understanding. Estarossa was about to meet Ely to tell his feelings towards her but it didnt happen because darkness finally engulfed and corrupted every senses he has that made him insane. Years have passed by Estarossa never showed to Ely and shes keep on waiting for the mysterious guy that never really told his name. One day, Estarossa was dreaming about her of meeting Ely confessing her and might accidentally mentioned her name to Meliodas while in the state of dreaming. Mel was so furious to meet Ely of meeting his brother in secret. Mel went to Ely to slay her but on his surprise Ely hugged him knowing that he is the same guy she was meeting. Ely might have fallen for Estarossa for missing him so much. She said to Me its been a whileI havent seen you I really thought youd never showed up and made me worry. Mel postponed slaying Elizabeth to know more details of what they have been discussing behind their back so Mel pretended to be Estarossa to get more information thinking that Estarossa and Ely might be planning to take down the demon clan with the Goddess's. In due time Mel have fallen in love with Elizabeth and he just keep it in his own not to reveal who he really is and the guy she have been meeting is not him but his brother Estarossa who lost everything and have gotten insane. Moving forward Elizabeth of Lioness, Ely's 107th reincarnation, dreamt of Estarossa and have said who are you. Then when Estarossa was about to kill Meliodas for the 7th sword rebellion, Mel was about to confess to Estarossa the lie he had been keeping. Estarossa brought back the memory of his meetup with Elizabeth. Then Elizabeth finally met Estarossa and said I think Ive known you same as Estarossa because the connection of their feelings met and seeing Mel's reaction was like I cannot tell now or it would be complicated knowing Estarossa doesnt have complete control of his emotion. Then he told Zeldris I know why you want to become the demon king to free our brother Estarossa's darkness to make him sane again. That is why Zel tried to takeout Estarossa's commandment without any hesitation not even acknowledging him but couldnt because its the wielders discretion to give it or not so Zeldris agreed on Meliodas request to be the demon king to free Estarossa. But warned his brother Estarossa Im very serious brother dont absorb the decree. I mean this theory might link to why Ely and Estarossa have the connection but doesnt have a clue why because of the afformentioned.
