We still dont know if Mihawk's eyes are anything special and if they are unique to him or it can be attained through training.Btw What do you think hides in zoro's left eye? He was trained with Hawk eyes Mihawk it can not be a coincidence.
Imo he has some kind of concentrated aura that overwhelms his opponents like he did with monet but a bit different

Perhaps its something to do with Haki......I have no doubt his eye is closed as some kind of limit breaker

So.. if your a character ini one piece that fairly strong.. i mean maybe in the level of bellamy strong.. do you prefer fight zoro.. a swordman that can and will cut your limb.. or fight luffy.. a brawler that could and will punch you in the head and make you pass out?Slashing vs Blunt damage
Blunt damage is lasting, core, damage where as slashing or piercing damage is where you get far more immediate damage.
To even know if Big Mom is susceptible to either damage you would have to know the basis of her invulnerability.
This is physics.
Against Big Mom(from the information we recieved about her) Blunt damage be far more effective. You can cause internal damage, where as her skin is impenetrable from the outside. The proof of this is that Big Mom can be pushed around with enough force and it was implied by Perospero that Big Mom IS susceptible to poison.
Slashing wouldn't work against Big Mom, but force can. So Zoro would not have been able to cause more damage with slashing. If any damage at all. UNLESS, Zoro attacks Big Mom in her state of distraught (Like Luffy he would have to bypass BM's destructive Scream)

Blunt force causes internal damage and the added effect of internal, Slashing MUST do external before moving internally. Since Big Mom is immune to external damage but susceptible to internal(poisoning), She's more likely to be weak to blunt.
Gear 4th might not be enough but a punch from Kaido? Or a King Kong Punch.
Physics says Blunt > Slashing, in the case of Big Mom
This is ONLY 100% BM, not starving and emaciated BM...
I'm saying your going to get fucking up either way, just that the damage you incur will be distributed differently. A Gear 4 King Kong Gun (which destroyed a city) would kill Bellamy just as quickly as him being sliced in half. No one outside of top tier fighters can survive a King Kong Gun.So.. if your a character ini one piece that fairly strong.. i mean maybe in the level of bellamy strong.. do you prefer fight zoro.. a swordman that can and will cut your limb.. or fight luffy.. a brawler that could and will punch you in the head and make you pass out?
Basically Ultra instinct Zoro. Looking forwards to thatI have no doubt his eye is closed as some kind of limit breaker
Kinda like Kenpachi from bleach
Opening both eyes is going to be like his own personal Gear 4, except it will just heighten his reflexes and increase in CoO, not strength
.
Probably from Giant Baboon gave it to him or something. Well if comparing to Rayleigh, his eye isn't special so the same can be for Zoro. Though could be for training as well, but think expecting too much to think its a Sharingan under there lol. This ain't Naruto XD.It could be just a regular eye and he willingly keeps it closed to train his observation all the time but then the scar wouldnt make sense. He could fool us with an eye patch if that was the reason behind it. Question is, how did he get that scar and for what reason.
I think whoever expects a sharingan is unrealistic, even for a fiction world as it doesnt fit into OP, however it may turn out to be some kind of power-up but nothing close to a sharingan.to think its a Sharingan under there lol. This ain't Naruto XD.
:
lol the plot twist of the closed eye..... THERE WAS NO F'KING PLOT TWIST!!!!!I'd love if Zoro's eye was revealed to just be an eye Zoro damaged because he fucked up:
Yep, and it'd be a classic OP gaglol the plot twist of the closed eye..... THERE WAS NO F'KING PLOT TWIST!!!!!
Here's the thing tho... If Zoro's eye is legit damaged and this manga doesn't surprise us with Mihawk being dethroned as the WSS, we have a massive issue.Yep, and it'd be a classic OP gag
Pretty sure he can. Though I don't think it has powers behind it as it's like Rayleigh with his scarred eye. Here's the thing tho... If Zoro's eye is legit damaged and this manga doesn't surprise us with Mihawk being dethroned as the WSS, we have a massive issue.
If Zoro fights Mihawk for the WSS position, Mihawk is a damned hypocrite.
Zoro losing an eye is a handicap anyway you look at it. If Mihawk is willing to fight a disabled Zoro but not a "disabled" Shanks... Mihawk is a hypocrite for not willing to keep up his rivalry with Shanks because he lose an arm.
For a top class swordsman the loss of an eye or arm is equally debilitating. Loss of an eye effects reaction time and the loss of an arm effects versatility of swordplay.
For Mihawk's sake I hope Zoro can still use that eye...
Losing an eye is different from losing an arm though, and if Zoro beats Mihawk despite being able to see with one eye, that would probably elevate him to an even higher standing than Mihawk ever was, and maybe even higher than Shanks. Here's the thing tho... If Zoro's eye is legit damaged and this manga doesn't surprise us with Mihawk being dethroned as the WSS, we have a massive issue.
