I still want to see Orochi surprise everyone and suddenly just decapitate Zoro to the utter incomprehension of everybody.

Orochi doing this would indeed be incredible surprise to me at least, as I consider him a fodder character even with his Devil Fruit.

On the other hand, what if we looked at the Picnic with the Zombies wrong the entire time? What if it's not Zoro who dies but it's Sanji instead?
He is embraced by a Zombie which is chewing on him, it could symbolize death eating him.
The revival part would possibly have to do with Vegapunk as he worked with Judge and may know something about exoskeleton modifications and Vegapunk may be coming to Wano as Orochi requested it from CP0.

Still, the death of Zoro could be more likely as Wano opened up with Zoro about to commit seppuku(supposedly), Kitetsu curse could backfire or someone like King or Kyoshiro might outperform/cheap shot him when he goes after Orochi.

Sanji is better condition than Zoro so don't think it's about him there. Especially Zoro is already injured from prior fight, so more sense why it could be more bad omen for him.

I recall my Oni-Asura prediction, and definitely hope for that idea to get some kind of incarnation in the manga. That needs an explanation and I feel like Oda has that power up hidden until now for a good reason. For all we know, he went berserk before while using it and Mihawk broke him out of it, and commanded him never to use it again. The closed eye may be a seal of sorts. Perhaps one of his Asura simply didn't let go of the eye and will cause some kind of active transformation, like with Cavendish.

(Always had this theory that Hakuba was but one "mask" power. There could be a frowning face and a terrified face, for instance. Smoothie would look great with either. Zoro could have something similar in the Asura, assuming the Cursed Blades aren't responsible for this somehow.)

A terrified face doesn't sound scarcy at atall.

Dang...One of his strongest attacks being Pound Cannon and no effect at all to Kyoshiro. I knew Orochi wouldn't be taken out right away, but didn't think someone or at least perhaps someone in Beast Pirates top tier would be able to handle it, but Kyoshiro easily showing his swordsmanship here.

I know Zoro still has 2 swords, but that still doesn't stop him doing devastating attacks. To see Kyoshiro playing around with him like that was hard to see. Though finally we getting more people who aren fodder or fodder-like give him a challenge.

Don't think Zoro can best him though with his condition of still hurt recently as the way they clash it was like Kyoshiro toying with a 'child'. Hope to see after this skirmish that everyone trains harder before Fire Festival as if they seriously going take out Kaido's group they need more backing to their power than ever before.

Yeah, looks like Kyoshiro is actually the real deal like I predicted, unlike your prediction of Zoro's final opponent - Orochi, who stood there helplessly waiting for Zoro to slice him.

Never know. Doubt Zoro let go with what Orochi's done. They will fight sooner or later.

Seems like you never saw a Zoro fight before. Reading some pre-TS fights of Zoro can help you understand the bladed combat style better so indeed you should take a closer look.

Well, if Oda wanted to, Zoro could learn the style in the fight. Or Zoro loses now, and comes back stronger later in the arc. He needs to be tested so he can get stronger, otherwise he'll be so far behind Luffy lol.

Doesn't matter on that. Zoro won't get go of his anger for Orochi. They will fight later on whether Orochi can be challenging opponent or not.
