Who's baiting? We watching same manga, right? Zoro's performance hasn't been his best so why think he doing greatest thing when last time we saw him he was struggling with Kyoshiro and trying to escape with Hiyori. Got know difference of baiting and people speaking truth. There is even a thread he is likely to get captured out of this chaos more someone made. Just saying, not baiting anyone.
For your statement to hold up, you'd have to know how strong Kyoshiro is. He might be close to commander level for all we know.

Zoro defeated a Supernova despite the fight being interfered with to his detriment. That's good enough. To be fair we haven't actually seen Zoro in a position to rate his 'performance'.

Well don't know exactly how he is in hiearchy especially Kaido's crew, but for sure he is one of top-tier fighters, but Idk YC lvl or close to that. Have to see more to say, so I understand. Though still for Zoro to use Haki and clash and Kyoshiro playing with him like that inserts more Zoro not in good performance still.

While he did K.O. Killer, he wasn't 100% in the mind to say that was a fair fight. Doubt Killer be thinking straight to fight after what he been through, so wouldn't call it a 'fair' fight and plus more like a tie especially Zoro fainted right after. Hard to take him seriously on his lvl as his durability feats take a big hit on not being same as before.

Idk. Zoro vs Hawkins shown a clear fight of them and Zoro look bad at his end. Since then, he been struggling more on fights. Not saying he won't do something great in a fight later on, but right now he isn't in best condition to see. Looks like Oda bringing back struggle into him like in pre-timeskip. Which I like since Zoro need more struggle and serious opponents nowadays. That's one of the reason I like him and his fights. Hope we get that like pre-timeskip in future fights later on.

Zoro likely also wasn't thinking straight after seeing how Orochi treated Yasuie and his daughter, he was trying to go after Orochi. And Zoro was distracted by someone else when he took the stab, but he still managed to keep the blade in and take out Killer.

Zoro vs. Hawkins was about Zoro trying to get away, not fight or finish the fight....

Who bets Zoro likely to get capture due to his condition or else gonna have another struggle with Ninjas or Kyoshiro again that backfired on him more? He has Hiyori on him so he can't fight as he likes while protecting someone along he with pushing his body after getting hurt.

Oda really showing 'highlight' of Zoro lately for sure.
indeed!

Any of fukurokuju's bloodthirsty ninja could give zoro an extreme diff fight when they get serious they use deadly weapons such as shuriken, poison or even nails which were proven to be super effective against the scrub swordsman.

Look at them, does this looks like the face of mercy to you?

And don't even get me started on Kyoshiro, he is not even serious and Zoro is already at his limits... neg diff overkill.

Zoro is in big trouble right now.

Zoro fight multiple opponents before. Not really an excuse especially he got Haki of both types. Even taking the hit, he should do like Luffy by hardening his skin to prevent major damage. Not logic in taking it bare at all.

Sane can be said to Killer did to Zoro as both went out abd Killer wasn't even 100% mentally in the game. See it tie than a win for Zoro as fainting afterwards doesn't help his case.

Zoro still clash with head-on and again still make him look bad. Again nothing has shown Zoro was heavily handicap he can't use more techniques and abilities. Zoro even admit it's his fault for his negligence on the second fight. Don't think he has more to Show. That's his limit right now. He needs to train like everyone else before Fire Festival to have more of chance honestly.

And how many of those did he expect to stay out of the fight because honor?

And I still highly doubt Zoro would have fainted had there still been threats. And if negligence is why he got hit, then how is that related to him having a limit??

Point being he can handle multiple opponents and has abilities to prevent getting hurt bad, but instead didn't happen.

There was guy who stole his sword. He is an enemy and he fainted in front of him. Don't say 'He went direction of getting Killer's weapon and seemingly leaving' Zoro doesn't know that. No excuse he choose to faint in front of him at all. It's means his limit when he said his fault. He had a lot moments to shown more, but again, not up to task again. We just saw him fight Kyoshiro and still could have shown more. So again he needs training and reach his limit atm right now.

Obviously a troll post, that's why people troll you back instead of having a normal conversation...
Pretending to having serious conversation while trolling by twisting manga facts wont get us anywhere.

Zoro's last sight before he fainted was that guy. What reason was him to faint if willingly he did (he didn't though) front of the man who took his sword away and fought early? Don't lie or troll this time. Give me your reason that needs to be logical why Zoro went down like that. I always back up my side each time. Don't use biased fanboying with yours please.

The only logical reason is plot element based on what Zoro tanked in the past without fainting. The reason provided by the manga is hunger and I wouldnt say he willingly passed out but he clearly saw Gyukimaru leaving, means no reason for him to remain conscious even if he could have.
Gyukimaru was never really an enemy, he told Zoro to forget Shusui and leave before they started to fight. Even after he woke up he didnt go after the man who took his sword...

For one reason or another, one possibly being Killer being formidable enough that Zoro didn't or couldn't focus on the other enemy.

He also stayed out of the fight for a while and observed instead of jumping in to help Killer. Zoro would likely know if the guy was dangerous if the guy immediately went after ZOro to finish him off, The only thing you have is his fight against Killer, but that's about it. In other instances, he wasn't fighting to win, but defending for one reason or another, mostly.

I don't think the clash looked bad for him. Kyoshiro is strong, according to Zoro.

I didn't say it was fair; it was unfair for Zoro to be attacked by someone else. But there's no fairness with Pirates so it's all good. Zoro is fairly durable, with great endurance; that's serious.

It's both, it does make Kyoshiro looks strong, but same time makes Zoro look weak though. put emphasizes on both sides with one not struggling and the other is struggling.

While Zoro was attack by two opponents, it's nothing new as he handle multiple opponents before. He can do like with Luffy and Sanji on Haki to help him predict or harden his body before impact to prevent damage or at least major damage like the scythe wound, so still got to take fault on that. Get what you mean though that in fights in OP, there is no fairness unless stated about it, but this hurt his character and status on how strong he is. He went from taking all Luffy's Pain and standing (subconsciously or almost looking like to fall over) over night until everyone wakes up to now falling over and fainting from an shoulder wound. You can't say that's improvement, that's is a toll on his durability. Not saying he isn't durable anymore, but just not at same lvl as his pre-timeskip feats of durability as he wouldn't fall down like that.

True, but Hawkins doesn't need to move much given his abilities. He is like Law and they usually keep distance than go close-combat much. I will say Hawkins is probably an bad matchup for Zoro due to his DF power, but still felt Zoro could have done a bit better on using more abilities to not get as hurt by him.

Maybe, but still with Zoro's Haki he should be able to sense out in different attacks around or at least use hardening to deflect some of the attacks off before getting major blow like that. Doesn't help especially we find out Killer wasn't 100% mental at the time to fight how he wants and what he been through, so takes away Zoro's feats there on how he fights.

That's too 'convenient' especially Zoro should have no reason to the guy who stole his weapon, fight him, and lead him getting stab. You shouldn't think that just because he choose to go after Killer's weapon instead of him as once your knockout, he could have easily kill you like that and it be game over for Zoro. Shouldn't have 'guess' that the guy wouldn't hurt him especially they just met in a bad way. That doesn't make sense along with his character as Zoro doesn't go 'trusting' that much of someone instantly.

Not really defending as he went after weapon collector himself and attack him before Hiyori and Toko came with Killer and then that's how mess happen as he also choose to get involve with that too. He was more on attacking to start fights compare his opponents who were busy with other objectives. Not saying it shouldn't happen as make sense on why it happen, but Zoro was looking to fight to win and defend as he needed to get his sword back and protect the girls too.

Please don't use hunger excuse as that make no sense at all and no indication by Oda to say he passed out cause he was so hungry. He isn't Luffy, his body works different. Also again it's kinda out of character for him to 'trust' someone he just met in bad terms in taking his sword, they just fought, and got him stab and just turn blind eye to him just because he choose to go for Killer's weapons. He could have kill him when he was fainted and do something to the girls easily. That doesn't fit Zoro much at all to do that as it won't change he still want the sword back and doubt he forget it just because the guy said it. Of course he didn't go after cause more importantly Yasu was being executed and he was resting first off. None of this supports why Zoro fainted and it doesn't fit on character to 'trust' and 'see' that he is no danger just because the guy went for someone's weapons. He is a weapon collector so make sense, but doesn't speak for his personality though.

So far looking at the writing, it clearly showing more Zoro bite off more he can chew and fainted as a result which explains why Oda made him said it was 'his fault' instead of saying or heavily hinting there was something else that plague him before. Oda would have make it more obvious than Zoro just saying that. That's just how it looks right now looking back at it.

You asked me for my opinion, you got it.

Zoro's stomach literally growls before he passes out. That is the only reason provided by the manga, you dont have to like it but that's what you get.
Also again it's kinda out of character for him to 'trust' someone he just met in bad terms in taking his sword, they just fought, and got him stab and just turn blind eye to him just because he choose to go for Killer's weapons.
He obviously ignores him even after waking up.
He could have kill him when he was fainted and do something to the girls easily.
You saw Gyukimaru walking away, right? If yes, what are you arguing then?
That doesn't fit Zoro much at all to do that as it won't change he still want the sword back and doubt he forget it just because the guy said it.
He still wants the sword back and still isnt going after Gyukimaru. What's up with you rushing that plot line? It will happen, relax man.
None of this supports why Zoro fainted and it doesn't fit on character to 'trust' and 'see' that he is no danger just because the guy went for someone's weapons. He is a weapon collector so make sense, but doesn't speak for his personality though.
Again, he didnt need to trust anything, he saw him walking away, you saw him walking away, we all saw him walking away. Only you seem to have problem with it. Why?

Bit off more than he can chew? LoL Who's that? He cant chew Kamazou? He cant chew Gyukimaru? He literally chewed the stronger one on screen.
Result of fainting is not his fault, you keep getting this wrong even tho I explained it several times but it isnt getting into your head. He said it's his fault for getting injured, not his fault for fainting...

Whatever is the reason for fainting(hunger-provided by the manga) it is plot element because Zoro starved more, took more damage, lost more blood and never fainted. Doesnt take much effort to spot a plot element but I guess not everyone spots it that easily or just tries to bait and provoke the fans...

That is, if Zoro was using his CoO. It seems Zoro doesn't use it actively unless needed, for one reason or another, so it'd make sense that he got blindsided.

The whole thing is too convenient - Zoro gets stabbed when he normally shouldn't, and he passes out when he'd taken worse and kept fighting. Plot devices are weird, especially in this case because on top of Zoro not trusting easily, the person did not give him a reason to even think he had honor, as far as I recall.

Yeah so distracted.

That author and manga? Got be honest, wasn't expecting someone like that. Though kinda thought someone else more in SJ or so would do it.

He needs to to be step ahead on things. He said it himself. We are in New World now. We got to be vigilant, but he doesn't seem to be doing that more so far in Wan on the plan and fights lately. Still got fault him on it for that.

Maybe or just that Zoro was never at lvls some presume at all. When was last time Zoro face someone worthy to clash with? Most of NW opponents until Wano were fodder-like. Now he got more serious contenders here, it's making him look bad then others thinking he can hang in there. Of course he get a great fight probably final battle, but still looks that everyone will be planning and training to get prepare for festival and make sense how they are able to take on Kaido and his crew. Zoro right now needs that as he can't be in sane state as he is now if we are to believe he can cuddly fight more top-tiers after bad losses and clashes who he face so far. Just saying he needs work to make sense after that.

An escape arc was doomed from the start while combat arc supposed to dwarf Marineford war has lots of going for Zoro. :hip
