@Lexusflame @King Moe irrelevant putting ur trust in luffy doesn’t mean he shouldn’t try to destroy birdcage
Except he directly addressed us and stated the marines had no right to be the saviors of the country they had a hand in subjugating.... it's why he and Akainu got into it so heatedly and Akainu badded him from all marine bases.

Your comment is directly contradicted.

Does it make sense? No it does not... but that's what happened.

I need to see you type that Zoro, an Elite Swordsman, didn't bother to at least try to cut strings....
Only then will you realize how stupid that sounds.
There are 2 things going on here....
1. You believe Zoro didn't cut the strings because he wasn't smart enough to realize Swords > Strings
Or
2. Zoro couldn't cut the strings because it had already been established that you cannot cut through the strings Birdcage is made out of and thr best option was to push it away.
So either Zoro is an idiot or couldn't cut the strings....
I dont need to write anything. It is literally what happened in the manga. It is you who denies proof.
I am sure you understand what suspense is and what the purpose of Birdcage was.

I think it was obvious that nobody could cut the Bird Cage. Not even Fujitora could do it, despite the citizens almost dying.
I'm sure that pushing a blade against something counts as "cutting".
If you have any doubt, pick a knife in your kitchen and try it on your hand.
It is not obvious. Actually, on the contrary, many could have done it but to keep the suspense Oda removed cutting as an option completely.
Pushing against the cage with the dull side of the blade is obviously not cutting. If you have a doubt pick a knife and look how a knife looks like when you actually point the sharp side forward.
It wasn't the same string. One of the things that makes Mingo the best villain portrayed in the series is his versatility with the fruit. We've seen him use his string as a whip, as a weapon and even a cage. So its not fair to assume it was the same string those guys cut when the attacked the clone is what i am assuming you mean.
Now regarding Mingo vs Zoro, i dont think Zoro would've pawned Mingo surely, but perhaps he would've faired better than Sanji. In Tottoland arc, Sanji showed immense speed which could've helped, but not from what we knew in Dressrosa. So Zoro would've faired better than Sanji, but pawned Mingo, dont think so.
It is the same string because the Birdcage was created exactly from the Black Knight.
I think it was pretty clear that Zoro would have eaten Doffy for breakfast when an Admiral was put in his way. If Doffy could have trashed Zoro, he would give him the same treatment he gave to Sanji and Kinemon. Instead, a freaking top tier powerhouse was put in front of Zoro and that same top tier powerhouse was pushed back by Zoro who was being crushed by gravity with one sword nameless flying slash. Law who couldnt even use Hardening on his blade has broken through Doffy's CoA and Law is physically and CoA wise incomparably weaker than Zoro.

Because you can't explain why Zoro couldn't cut the strings without looking like a fool

:ohaielmo

Here I was thinking Swords were the perfect fighting style to get rid of spagetti strings. Damn shame on me

I dont need to explain it because he and everyone else, never tried. Literally a manga fact, which you have seen yourself and have been told by me.
Blame Oda babysitting Doffy with an Admiral when Zoro comes after him. :kappa

I dont blame Oda for coddling Zoro. He's done that from the beginning. Can't get mad at consistancy... but hey, maybe Zoro can push Kaido since apparently it's more effective than cutting

ALright, maybe it was the same string, and that's perhaps the only part i am willing to agree with your post.
Zoro beating Doffy for breakfast is plain ludcrious.
Law has a sword but isn't a skilled swordsmen, so he doesnt need to use hardening in his blade. Zoro vs Mingo is a discussion worth having on a seperate thread, but claiming that its pretty clear is insane.

Luffy FLEXED out of Parasite

Zoro; the Eltie Swordsman, SLAYER OF KAIDO, PUSHER OF ADMIRAL SWORDSMEN, AND WIELDER OF THE BLACK BLADE(the black blade that has the highest level of CoA apparently)... couldn't cut a single string? Maybe if he had Enma things would have turned out differently.

It's understandable that everyone weaker than Zoro couldn't. Not questioning why the likes of Abdullah and the others couldn't. Zoro is miles stronger than them.

Zoro even enfused his blades with haki lol he needed to Infused his blades with HAKI push strings.... with a SWORD.

Which is all I'm saying. It doesnt make sense to claim Doflamingo gets low diff'd by anyone

Hey, it's not me who writes the story, it's Oda. :ohaielmo

Why is it ludicrous that a guy who is a bad match-up and has better CoA than Luffy can beat Doffy? It actually makes perfect sense.
It only doesnt make sense to those who think Zoro is far from Luffy and equal to Sanji and since Sanji was trashed, Zoro has to be too.
That is the core of the problem.

My point with Law was, that even he who isnt skilled, isnt physically as strong, has weaker Haki still managed to cut through Doffy's Hardening.
Now imagine someone like Zoro who is better in all those things.
Besides, Birdcage has nothing to do with beating Doffy. A completely irrelevant ability.
Law delivered a killing blow which was negated by plot armor, Luffy defeated Doffy. Both never had to deal with Birdcage.
couldn't cut a single string?
Never tried. Fact. :ohaielmo

So then, Vergo vs Sanji was an actual fight, or a clash? And can you name an actual fight Sanji has been in since TS.
It was a clash with no winner or any indication of who's stronger, which can be backed up by the fact that Sanji was still running and moving around like he never fought Vergo.
Luffy FLEXED out of Parasite
This is something that most other characters can't do, so it's not fair to consider Sanji shit for not being able to break out of Doflamingo's strings. Most characters wouldn't have been able to do that without Yonkou level durability or a powerful haki and ability to expand body.

In any case, Zoro could have tried cutting the strings but he didn't, and that's likely because he knew he wouldn't be able to cut it, especially when nothing was able to faze the strings. Zoro would gamble his own life, but he would not gamble the lives of innocent people.

But Zoro was the strongest and future WSS, everyone else couldn't hold a candle to what Zoro could do... Zoro who wields a black blade and infuses CoA into his other 2.:cookiehand

He's clearly not pushing it with the dull side

The problem is was fujitora trying too? If he was then ur saying that birdcage isn’t even capable for an admiral level tier to cut and by that logic luffy can’t cut it either
Of course Luffy couldn't. The whole point of fighting Doflamingo is that it was the only way to stop the Birdcage.

This is what swords look like when you have the edge forward, that in your screenshot what we see are the dull sides.
Besides, in that SS Kinemon says "its not something you can push to stop it". Zoro never attempted to cut, not a single time.

Again WG will know before hand he did that. He gets in trouble for fighting Warlord without order. You need to understand context and how WG acts. Fujitora would take out Doffy himself if it wasn't for WG's issues. He stated that before and one of the reasons he wants Warlord system gone.

Just stating facts. Like, why wouldn't Zoro want the birdcage to be cut so people can be safe? And Luffy would have gone down as soon as Doflamingo wrapped him with strings without Gear 4.

Because no one was allowed to think about cutting it because it would defeat the purpose of the Birdcage.
A guy who is physically stronger than Doflamingo, with stronger CoA than Doflamingo and superior weapons(Shusui) couldnt cut some non-Hardening strings that Abdullah and Jeet cut without Haki? It is ridiculous to argue that he couldnt when he clearly could but wasnt allowed to even take it into consideration.
