It does make sense if you actually think about it. Damages were weak for Big Mom's standards, they were impressive for the likes of Bege.
Yonkos who can hurt each other havent seen each other in decades and even when they met they didnt land clean hits on each other to harm themselves.
No YC1's were trying to harm a Yonko that we know off, so yeah, crappy damage feats. Zoro's damage is not crappy.
However, BIg Mom's own crewmates have been with her long enough to see her fight, so they'd go by that. So yeah, no evidence of Big Mom taking crappy damage in front of her crew.
Yonkou commanders? Queen was trying to hurt Big Mom. Luffy's damage isn't crappy either, but he failed to do anything to either Yonkou. No reason to think Zoro would be effective either, especially if you'd assume the two Yonkou have gone up against sword users before.
but hey, if Zoro felt like cutting it, he would have done so, just thought it would be more dramatic to try and hold back a barrier that was killing people.
There is a reason why Zoro can do it - not a blunt damage.
Yes, we saw exactly what happens when Kaido tries to tank a sword user before. You already forgot? And it is nowhere implied that you need to be Oden's level to cut Kaido who is even more durable than BM.
Exactly like that. Can you understand why that is so?
Saw her fight who? And those landed a clean hit on her?
With what? Blunt damage.

Zoro can cut through anything. Plot devices that create tension and mayhem such as Birdcage arent meant to be cut and thus nobody thought of it and people whose sole purpose is to cut, never even thought of it and resorted to pushing. It is so obvious that it hurts.
Yonkou, Marines, etc
She still didn't feel much and had to be restrained in sea stone to be stopped
With Enma, the sword that could cut through anything?
Which Marines? Which Yonko did they saw her fight?
My point is, no capable swordsman hit her cleanly and Zoro is more than just capable swordsman.
No, dear m3j... Forget the idea that Enma does something special. You literally saw that Ame did the same that Enma did and it doesnt have the same gimmick. For those who tamed it, Enma is nothing but a regular sword, no different than any other.
They've seen her fight Shanks, Kaidou, Fujitora, Sengoku, and Kizaru, to name a few, and at least two of those characters are swordsmen.
So forget what was stated in the manga about Enma? Sounds hard
@goldb
Again, this is what we mean by things going pointless and people simply baiting to have a silly endless discussion.
Nothing would actually satisfy this argument. Sure, someone could find panels but then you'd say but it's not swords, then someone could find sword damage then you'd say its not Zoro or Mihawk though.
Its silly and tiresome. As @Lexusflame mentioned, when describing why BM is invulnerable, there wasn't any limitations to what damage that is. You are trying too hard right now.
I also didn't see the manga stating Zoro could hurt Big Mom, and yet you're claiming he can. Just arguing like you.
Manga told us that Zoro accidentally cut a rock or cliff because Enma drew out too much power from him.
Fair enough but one thing will be proven in this arc, the other wont. What are you gonna do then?
That's Zoro's first interaction with Enma... Why didnt he mow down the entire bamboo forest on his second use?
She simply isnt invulnerable, you will learn soon enough. The "immortal" Kaido who wants to die was cut open like a pig by Oden. Swordsmen are destroying myths left and right and you still didnt pull your head out of the sand...

Wait, but there is a pretty big difference between zoro having this capacity at an earlier point and zoro having it at a later point in the series. Zoro having the capacity to injure big mom post enma does not prove he could have done it, say, during WCI arc or at sambaody during the strawhat reunion. And sure, big mom isn't literally invulnerable, but she is enough of a monster that she might as well be so against people of a lesser tier.
Zoro haven't really worn his black bandana much post time skip. Did he wear it vs Pica? If not then we know he was not pushed near the edge of his limit like when he fought daz bones in Alabasta. That is his signature forshadow of a great Zoro fight. What I want to see is him really showing us that bandana again and make the marimo disappear. Zoro is arguably a demon in more than one way once his Marimo hair disappears and the bandana replaces it. But what I really really want is for him to wear that bandana to show the audience he is in a serious fight but also open his other eye. Yeah there is a scar there but it does not mean his eye is gone. I have no qualms about it being gone but it would be much more amazing of a development for him if he is handicapping himself on purpose, making himself stronger for those future life or death fights when he will open both eyes. It's an old theory but I hope it comes true. Although if his eye turns out to be some kind of asspull with narutolike eye powers then I will be pissed af. Just a regular, normal eye please, Oda.
Why i think he has a story about that bandana??? He always put it in his arm, i think he just wear it in his head if he in serious fight, and he know he has a change to win.
But in wano arc, he doesnt has it. After time skip he wear something like yukata, and that bandana still in his arm.
After kyousiro identity, i want oda clear about zoro case, if we just imagine or that true.

All the strawhats become stronger over every arc. That is pretty much how the series rolls. And sure, you haven't seen any change due to enma because the series has not gotten to that yet. But by the looks of it its going to be a fairly substantial haki upgrade, which is actually very relevant to zoro's cutting capacity.

Last time I checked, Zoro's haki capacity is enough to dissect a stone mountain and barely break a sweat. I dont know where you go from there...
And I am not a supporter of getting stronger over every arc... It was said once, to justify EL power-ups which came out of nowhere...
Luffy had 2 extreme diff fights against Doffy and Cracker and what improved? Maybe his stamina and that's all.
Rayleigh's "Haki blooms in extreme fights" was there just to justify learning FS which took Katakuri his lifetime... It wasnt required to learn haki flow on Udon fodder and steel plates.
Zoro literally walked in the park from Sabaody until Wano, I see no improvement. What he demonstrates in Wano, he had it at disposal back on Sabaody unless it ends up a new PU mid-fight or gets specific mention that it is the result of swinging Enma at the bamboo tree for a couple of days...

Luffy's stamina improving is A LOT though. Gear 4 luffy was simply overall more powerful than doflamingo. As in, doflamingo was nearly helpless against it (though doflaming had taken damage before gear 4). Luffy getting to use gear 4 over longer periods of time pretty much consolidates luffy as a threat to actual yonko commanders. I am not a fan of the rayleigh bit either but even then it is fairly clear that the strawhats become stronger each arc rather consistently. With specific moments serving as more significant powerups than mere physical capacity (ennies lobby, timeskip, katakuri fight, wano prison).
Sure, but cutting a mountain has exactly zero relevance towards zoro's ability to even scratch big mom. big mom is vastly more durable than however many pebbles pika can gather.

More context for this bit: We have seen that within the series characters can reach points where the sheer devastation they are capable of unleashing can be a threat to a country itself. BUT within the context of OP this point is not that high within power level tiers. For example take the strawhats during fishman island arc.
At the time we saw:
1.- Luffy had the capacity to destroy noah, a thing comparable in size to fishman island, with relatively little effort. Just gear 3 the thing to rubble.
2.- Zoro could unleash literal tornado made out of sword slashes which shreds enemies.
3.- Sanji could set that giant fishman on fire.
Any one of those skills could essentially ruin an island. However even that we've seen is not really competitive against high tier people within OP. As in, sanji up to WCI simply was not competitive against yonko commanders of any tier. Luffy until the katakuri fight needed gear 4 to hold his own against yonko commanders and even then needed a substantial haki upgrade to fight katakuri. Sanji for all his rather literal firepower did not dent doflamingo. Even in spite of luffy's victory against katakuri he still got one shooted by kaido. And big mom freaking went toe to toe with kaido in a physical confrontation. With how absurd the power differences can be it's by no means a stretch that pre enma training zoro would be as unable as the entire group that tried to poison big mom was at trying to harm her. Heck, big mom is someone that went for years or decades in the new world without taking so much as a scratch.
