Hat isn't a weapon, nor is there hype behind it.

Sword is a weapon, and it's hyped to be able to hurt Kaidou.

Hype as potential of being something as we seen last wearers of both hats lead to Roger and Shanks overall, but did they instantly face same enemy as same power as their previous owner? No they didn't. It's all about the user, not the equipment.

Also it took both swords to scarred him, not one. Enma is as hype along with Ame on blades to harm Kaido, but by Oden's power alone, not anyone can just do that and doubt Oda will do that when he made Kaido for Luffy being the one to give major damage too overall.

In Ebisu Town, the locals laughed (as they do) at Zoro's three-swords.

Later, Hiyori also remarked about the three-sword style.

Is there anything to read into further, regarding Hiyori's comment? Is she thinking about Oden's two-sword style, or perhaps a foretelling from Toki involved a man with three-swords?

Is the hat a weapon? Compare the sword to a damn weapon, not an object made for wearing.

It doesn't matter, the sword still has hype, and it's a weapon. No one has said the hat helped Roger beat enemies with its attacks or whatever. hell, the afro Luffy wore in Davy Jones has more hype than the hat.

Your argument doesn't mean anything against Zoro or him fighting and hurting Kaidou. He likely won't fight Kaidou since the crew rarely ever fights the boss together, Thriller Back being an exception, but that doesn't count him out, especially with how Wano is.

I always read it as her being surprised someone could proficiently fight with 3 swords. She's likely only seen samurais with a single katana or daisho combination. Oden himself using a long sword variation of the nitoryu.

Your missing the point a lot though. Just because you have same equipment as someone who was able to get big feats out of it, doesn't mean you will get it yourself or easily at all. Nothing supports Zoro will face Kaido especially we are to believe the guy who couldn't handle Apoo and past enemies can face Kaido like nothing? That be too BS even for Oda as he didn't hype Zoro up like that at all. I am just saying it's not concrete factor it means that supports it just like Luffy having Strawhat of legends holding it, he be able to do things they do when he got it.

You're using silly comparisons. A sword and a hat are not the same equipment, one is a weapon, and the other is an item one wears. Your arguments don't make sense either, it's on the same plane as nik and Shasha when it comes to logic. Zoro never really fought Apoo, he and Luffy were more focused on running, so that implies nothing other than Apoo's ability to deal damage to even a devil fruit user. Zoro was still awake and moving about.

I don't think I said he could face Kaidou and beat him easily? Just that he'd probably face Kaidou because of the sword and maybe have a short skirmish before fighting someone else. I even said he likely won't fight Kaidou since the Straw Hats rarely fight the boss with Luffy.

Your still missing the point of it all and my logic make sense more than you in other thread pushing Pica over Doflamingo when I said Law is stronger than Zoro. Zoro doesn't need a full fight to prove he was outmatched by someone to implied he was out of his league or it be hard fight with certain person. If one non-serious slash to his chest make him go on his knees, Think if Apoo went full power. You be lying to say 'Zoro can tank it all' with no proof whatsoever. Apoo would be too hard for him as shown prior to many of his fights an powerful and tricky foe wouldn't be good matchup with him as he wouldn't be able to understand how their power works and handle over it.

Now your saying it, but early your saying possibility he could take on Kaido in past posts. If you mean that then, I agree on that. My point being he won't do same things as Oden just because he has the sword. By that logic, Momo could get Kaido given he has other sword and it took two of them, not just Enma to strike him after all.

You forgot that momo has not mastered the sword yet, zoro already did this and ready to fight kaido or at least a YC1 like king

Oh he did just like you use same action Zoro mastered Enma when we haven't seen him use in a serious fight yet. If your going like that Momo has a chance to show off too.

Also again King and Kaido are not in his future anymore especially if Gifters ofr T6H member crew are giving him a tough time from how it looks.

Dont know if it has been already mlentioned but, this color page is interesting (chap 937), zoro's map indicate Enma's location, seemingly, theres Enma's word and a sword drawn on it. Theres no way oda would foreshadow this without this sword having some crucial importance at some point. I thought and still think that Enma belongs to Wano and should be returned later, but i cant help thinking it will have some great role in this current arc, and Zoro likely too coz rn hes the only one able to handle it.
Would love to know, more about Nami, Usopp (almost certain usop map is about Elbaf), and Robin, locations' points and meaning, and also what s brook is lookin up in the sky, im certain theres a lot of foreshadowing, there.

Give me proof that momo trained with oden's sword, not the wooden sword

T6H gives harder time for sanji, not against zoro
T6H is for sanji in wano as rematch after he lost to drake. Zoro will get a fight with kaido to help luffy

Give me proof why Zoro going for him and not No no. Both swords were use to cut Kaido. Not one. Thus Momo will be involve in the end as well especially it's his birthright to both blades to be honest.

Nah Zoro T6H for him. He isn't worthy in his power level to face Kaido. He got instant defeat harder than Kamazou did to him.

Where Sanji came from? Don't bring him in just because you can't handle he beat someone stronger than Zoro better and Zoro didn't with weaker foes.

Obvious his final opponent is Orochi in the end while Sanji vs King or Queen is how it shaping up to be.

His birth right is to be the shogun, not to own the swords. Bad assumption from you.
It was just an analogy for the sanji part, no need to be so angry. I mean, you do this all the time on sanji discussion topics so you are not really one to talk
King is for either zoro or marco whether u like it or not. This is how writing in One piece works

Shoguns are fighters with swords too. What you mean he isn't deserving of his father's weapons who was former Shogun himself? That made zero sense.

I never brought him in our talk or here unless you guys do and your doing it now. Don't bring other characters that has no reason to be discuss here.

Nah Zoro vs Orochi is his future. He not getting King anymore due to his performance. He isn't ready to face someone like that especially solo. That's how it shaping up to be for his side and vendetta for him.

And? momo gets the other sword..so your point is moot. He himself is afraid to use the sword right now

Nope you always go off topic and talk about zoro when its irrelevant. Never good to be in denial, just my friendly advice for you

Zoro vs king whether u like it or not coz zoro fights the strongest underling of the captain. Always been like that.

The series has made the point that when it comes to cutting, the main factor is the swordsman skill. And this is for whatever reason directly related to haki. having a good sword is of course an advantage but it's not the deciding factor. Zoro's master taught zoro how to cut what he wants to cut... Zoro could as well use enma in such a manner that it can't cut a leaf, like his master demonstrated. Enma's relevance won't be in some intrinsic capacity to cut kaido, it will be in the skill it takes to master it which will likely translate into greater cutting capacity for zoro.

At the moment I am not exactly feeling king vs zoro. Zoro going for king seems... unearned. Even if zoro traditionally goes for the second strongest in an enemy crew. I feel like zoro's role in this arc has not yet been revealed. his connection to wano should play a bigger role in the arc. The forces at onigashima are massive and we have barely been introduced to orochi's samurai, which should constitute a fairly powerful force. I am thinking zoro will be the one to deal with the samurai, though not necessarily singlehandedly.

My point is your excuse to say Zoro gets Kaido due to sword can be use for Momo too who has the other sword. It takes both swords to hurt him, not one. So your excuse is invalid like the talk your trying to push.

Zoro vs King is no longer possibility as much as Macro vs King or Sanji vs King. If he can't handle guys like Apoo and handle their damage, he won't last in a fight with solo YC lvl fight. Zoro will fight Orochi who is other leader of the enemy side, which make sense given writing role directed to him wanting revenge for him overall after all.

I agree with what you mean in ways especially how writing shows. Honestly I think Oda is pushing Zoro vs Orochi fight since overall he wanted him more than any other threat he talks about especially after what he did to Yasu, Toko, and Hiyori and been fighting his people for awhile more. It make sense given situation and plus he one of the leaders of the enemy side, so Zoro taking him on in a fight would be direction especially to test his swordsmanship abilities too.

You think that the strongest member of the alliance wont get to fight 3rd strongest enemy because it feels unearned, to you?
I am getting the feeling that he wont fight King too but for a different reason, because there are bigger fish to fry and no one stronger than Zoro to take them on.
