The Normals and The Espers, two different type of human being, yet the Espers have hard time to be accepted by the Normals because of their powers. In the future, a war will be occur between these Normals & Espers. Before that happen, there's appear a guy called Minamoto who will try to prevent this war from happening, by leading and supervising a group of NAUGHTY, CUTE(?) and POWERFUL LV7 Esper girls, The Children!! ......(Huh? Can that help prevent the war?) Could the relationship developing between Minamoto and The Children helped to change the future? Mostly, I'm dying to see if MinamotoxKaoru and the happy ending will be happen in the end^^.
I personally think that Shiina's style had much improved compared to the earlier works. Especially the way he draw the girls have more "MOE" elements now. And I burst out laughing hard every time I read the latest released chapters. Well, this is basically a comedy comic after all^^. Comedy, drama, actions, mystery, romantic are all mixed up very well. That's why I said this comic is worthy to be read.
Compared to other Shonen comic like One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Gintama, Magister Negi Magi, Hayate The Combat Butler, Detective Conan...blah blah blah... well I won't say this manga is better than them, but it will made your day much better^^ Believe me^^ *thumps up* Permalink " "
I vote 5 for this manga, really-really great! Lolicon like me really love it!
The story is not boring and you can't predict the ending easily
Lots of new interesting character can suddenly popped out
And it's also really nice for all non-lolicon because The Children also become adult and teenager Permalink " "
While at times it does this, for the most part it's just a lighthearted comedy. But that's also fine.
However, this series is not for the impatient. It's progressing very slowly, at 200 chapters into the series we still have no idea what the ending will be. That doesn't stop the characters from being unique and entertaining, so if you like character-driven stories, the pace won't bother you at all. ....Compared to the average shonen, the characters are much more fleshed out, unique, and three dimensional. This is also what sets it apart from being just a Powerpuff girls & X-Men knockoff.
It has a lot to offer for non-lolicons, despite what you might think. So don't drop it because you think the lolicon thing is disturbing. Also, the author plans to continue the series until the Children will grow into adults. Just like real kids, they won't remain lolis forever. IF Minamoto ever makes a move on them (which isn't likely in the foreseeable future), it will be once they've reached a more appropriate age. Permalink " "
