Re: Who's the most strongest guy in op ?

I wonder what this thread would be like if the infobox never existed...more interesting I would think because then we could debate what we've actually seen from the characters rather than whether or not Oda had a different interpretation of the word "strength".
If the infobox didn't existed, then I would probably go with BB. But I wouldn't be sure, since there are many character still unrevealed, their ability I mean.

I believe "strongest" is not only referred to brutal strength. In a fight there are many factors u have to consider, such as DF (weapon), experience, brutal strength, agility etc. These factor are determining the outcome of a fight. Basically the one with the best ratings in these factors is called the strongest, who represent the best fighting power.

Lets say WB title the strongest is not referred to fighting power, but only to brutal strength. Then Mwk must be the one who has the most brutal strength with a sword. Which doesn't make any sense, since he can't be alone with brutal strength the strongest swordsman. But we know for sure, he is the strongest since he is Zoros goal. If strongest is only referred to brutal strength then like WB (who is not the strongest human anymore) is Mwk not the strongest swordsman. Which would make Zoros efforts completely worthless. So it can't be true.. so simple.

Re: Who's the most strongest guy in op ?

i think dragon is the strongest since he is the most wanted and the cp9 are strong but all of the crew defeated one(except ussop but his marksmenship was shown so i wil count it) but nothing is definate until all of their strength is shown (PS black beards fruit would cancle out enerus so it wuld be him and luffy that could fight eneru)

Re: Who's the most strongest guy in op ?

No! Infobox by narrator = Oda. He is all knowing, if he says WB is the strongest then he is. Enel thought he is almightily.. we al saw what happened to him.

Infobox are neutral while character statements are based on character's viewpoints.
Like I said - Infoboxes show titles, not facts. They've been wrong before like how Enel's infobox states he's a god, yet he isn't. "Strongest man in the world" is a title WB gained thanks to his reputation. BB, however, purposely lacks a reputation because he didn't want himself to be known at the time. If everyone knew what BB had done to Ace and Shanks though, the world would be singing a slightly different tune as to who it views as the "strongest".

Also, consider the source of these statements. These statements stem from characters who are top-tier and know WB quite well. They have a slightly better clue on what's actually going on than the vast majority of the world.

Lastly, do you honestly believe an out-of-date infobox is worth more than what we know about BB? Should we ignore things such as BB scarring a Yonkou, eating the world's strongest DF, defeating two of WB's commanders, becoming a Shichibukai with a 0 bounty, and is the person who is obviously going to be the final villain?

My theory: Looking at Ace's reaction (Panel 7), I think WB didn't rly knew why BB killed Sacchi. Therefore I believe there were no witnesses at the crime scene otherwise there would have been probably more dead crew-mates. So he didn't have to flee. The fact that they are only talking about Sacci should prove my viewpoint. Anyway, Im concluding: WB only knew that BB is the culprit, coz he was the one missing after a dead body (Sacchi) was found. We all know that BB was on his ship for decades, so he was probably trusted and known among the crew and WB himself. I believe there shouldn't have been any problem for him to talk alone with WB. Like asking for a private audience, similar to what we saw with WB and Shanks, after he hid the corpse of Sacci. Basically he could have fought him 1vs1 without the crew and there were no real reason to flee for him either, since nobody knew that he killed Sacci. I mean it would have made him less suspicions by not fleeing.

At the moment I see 1(2) weak points in this theory.
What you are suggesting is far too risky. BB has been planning his moves for decades. No matter how powerful BB may be, he is still one man. He cannot deal with WB's fleet nor the other Yonkou fleets on his own, but by allying himself with the WG via becoming one of their Shichibukai, he gains the resources he needs to deal with his rivals while skipping the tiresome task of building a crew to rival the power the rest of the Yonkous possess.

So be it in a week, which could take 1 year in out time line. Still WB is right now the strongest. But since u r talking about the future: It is Luffy not BB or WB.
No. WB is known as the "strongest". He only retains that title until he's beaten or the world agrees with people like Shanks that BB is more powerful.

Luffy is a horrible example because he's far from being top-tier; he isn't even in Ace's league yet. BB, on the other hand, has demonstrated that his power is indeed legendary.

When was a Charackter/Shingami in Bleach stated by Kubo as the strongest? I fail to see: how u were ablt to compare WB with some1 in Bleach. Yes there are similarities between Aizen and BB, but in Aizen's world (Bleach) no-one was stated as the strongest.

Strongest Character : One Piece: WB || Bleach: unknown
Allow me to repeat myself: It's common for mangakas to not reveal everything about a character in one go. Why didn't we know about Aizen's strength early on? Because Kubo wanted to keep it a secret. Why didn't we know about Pein's strength early on? Because Kishimoto wanted to keep it a secret. Why didn't we know about BB's strength early on? Because Oda wanted to keep it a secret.

That one piece of evidence is Oda talking. It is his world, he created One Piece. If he says sth, then its absolute. You can't compare our world that of OP, while OP has certainly a creator, ours is unknown (I don't believe in god; just a side note).
That one piece of evidence appeared long before we knew the truth about BB. Mangakas add new information to a series as it progresses. What we learned last week can easily be retconned with future chapters. It's no different than the matter regarding the Admirals. Aokiji was originally stated to be the "strongest" before Oda made it clear that the same thing applies to the other admirals.

That infobox is only for us reader visible, basically Im saying BB thinks probably with his new ability's he is stronger than WB, though it isn't true. BB's possible reasons for his thoughts: 'Coz he is old, ill looking and maybe his dick is too small.
That infobox showcases the viewpoints of characters in the manga. People in OP, like Buggy, think WB is the strongest, though individuals such as Shanks disagree with that assertion. We know Shanks words are relevent while Buggy's are not because Shanks has fought BB and WB while Buggy has only seen WB in action.

You're saying BB has no idea about WB's strength and how it compares to his own despite the fact he served under the man for decades? lol.

You can only doubt WB title if there is a power change.
We can also doubt WB's title if the author blatantly hints that Character X is more powerful than WB.

For example: As WB was introduced Luffy was not capable of Gears. Now (after WB introduction) he is able to fight with Gears. So if u would claim (not saying u did, just a example) that Luffy is stronger, then we would have some basics to discuss. But as BB was revealed Oda already knew about his darkness ability (infobox is as Oda himself is talking), still he stated WB as the strongest. Can u show me where it is said, that BB increased in battle power since WB introduction?

btw I know WB vs Luffy is silly, just used his power up (Gears) to talk about.
Please quit overlooking the fact that Oda wanted to keep quiet about BB's actual strength before he made Shanks drop the bomb to us, the readers, in order to give BB proper hype to his character.

I have a question for you: Why did Oda state WB as the strongest and not former strongest, if BB is apparently stronger than him? @Franckie I mean why should Oda fuck himself?
Oda never stated WB is the strongest, only that the majority of people in the OP universe think he is the strongest. We, the readers, had no reason to question this general consensus because Oda had no intention of telling us the truth about BB until Shanks met with WB for whatever ??? Shanks wanted to discuss.

How can you guys assume on merely BB's words that he is stronger?
Because BB knows what he's talking about.

His words are against that of Oda, whose words are superior?
Oda made BB say that. That is Oda hinting that WB is not the person who is actually the strongest.

Seriously u guys think BB or X is stronger even though you haven't eve seen WB in action.. completely narrow minded, isn't it? putting that infobox aside!
We haven't seen Akainu in action, but it isn't rocket science to figure out he'd kick Luffy's ass in a heartbeat considering what we've seen from Kizaru and Aokiji. Besides, what's being narrow-minded here is people viewing an out-of-date infobox as credible evidence while simultaneously dismissing everything else we know about BB.

btw Oda: all knowing = narrator => Actions => Statements from characters who know what they're talking about => infobox
Fixed it for me, properly.

Like I said - Infoboxes show titles, not facts.
Can't believe you kept typing after this. To me, this is the perfect anti-WB argument.

I mean, I still say Whitebeard because a title means something surely, and though I think Blackbeard will beat him, my interpretation of strength is not about who wins and loses in a 1 on 1 fight.

But yeah, "Strongest Man in the World" is more a title for me, this was the kind of the point I was looking for.

Re: Who's the most strongest guy in op ?

I actually waited for Franckie's post so he could respond at the majority of your post since he's more proficient in English and words it better. Also cause I'm getting tired with hearing the same questions and the same remark and the only remark you have. Infobox = Oda speaking = absolute law. Which I already pointed out and several people that infoboxes is not something you should take as an absolute law.

Since you are so sure of this and always add this could you show me an interview where he says that the infoboxes are absolute law and titles given bye Oda himself rather then titles that the WG deals out (or the viewpoint of the majority in OP).

I mean it would have made him less suspicions by not fleeing.

At the moment I see 1(2) weak points in this theory.
Come on, even you should realise how flawed that reasoning is. A private audience and then saying similar to Shanks his audience while Whitebeard was surrounded bye his whole crew? Like I said before, their is simply no way that BB would ever have gotten alone with WB on a remote island where he could go all out and kill him. Do you seriously believe he would be able to create such a chance??

Good, I though u didn't get me. Infobox = absolute neutral law.
How couldn't I not get your point, you add it every time that the infobox = Oda talking = Absolute law since Oda is God of OP.

O c'mon.. Im talking about the general content of the infoboxes. If u dispute the content of one box without disputing the other contents, then you are only picking what you like, what is only useful for ur argument. Which is completely wrong and one-sided. Yes, u have no reason to dispute the numbers, Mwk's title and that of WB and No, you are not fair.
And I already asked, what can I dispute at random numbers and just names. You can only debate something when something is given to question it. What can I debate at the majority of examples that you gave? Especially cause I already gave my take on Mihawk and how Oda makes it easy to acknowledge that he is the strongest swordsman.

http://img60.onemanga.com/mangas/00000002/00000052/10.jpg

Oda making him say that he'll always be the strongest and he hasn't give any reason to doubt this words cause we haven't seen anyone saying they became stronger then him. If Oda raises no doubt people can't start doubting.

I was expecting Ussop xD Anyway, his comment is for comedy purpose, while that of Kamakuri is not. That guys lies half dead on the ground and u r not taking his words seriously..
Ofc I'm going to take the most obvious example to represent my argument that some people their word is easier to take as reliable information then others. Blackbeard like stated now several times is rather on the reliable side. And Kamakuri, what a bad example again. How reliable are a guys words whose never been away from Sky Island. Look at the source the info comes from pls and in what context it's putten in.

Examples of character viewpoint:
  • Zoro, even though he saw the ability of Enel (on Gan Fall and on Robin) he still attacked him and thought he could win.
  • Ussop, even though he knew Luffys abilities he thought he could win and fought him on W7.
Put it in context pls, in Usopp's case he was acting emotional and irrational. And did he truly thougth he could beat Luffy? It would make him even more delusional/stupid then I thougth he was. Well since I'm no fan of him since that incident and cause he always called him captain Usopp which I always felt was insulting towards Luffy I'll gladly accept to adapt to that viewpoint. To bad I think he deep down knew he had a 0% chance.

Now proof me once and for all that Oda said that the infoboxes are absolute law rather then the viewpoint of the WG or the OP world in general. Well WG = OP world in general more or less. Btw, no we are not beeing narrow-minded, we are taking things in the right context. It's rather funny to see you now say it to after you asked me not to call you that, quite ironic.

Re: Who's the most strongest guy in op ?

Like I said - Infoboxes show titles, not facts. They've been wrong before like how Enel's infobox states he's a god, yet he isn't. "Strongest man in the world" is a title WB gained thanks to his reputation. BB, however, purposely lacks a reputation because he didn't want himself to be known at the time. If everyone knew what BB had done to Ace and Shanks though, the world would be singing a slightly different tune as to who it views as the "strongest".
Those infobox contains character information and current status. Enel was said to be God of SkyPia. Which was true at the time he was introduced. He was replaced (GanFall) after the infobox was shown for us reader. Same with WB, he is the current strongest man. He will fall, but that is in the future. Im talking about the present not the future.

btw Enels title is the name of the ruler or governer of SkyPia, while WB's title is something u gain with fighting power.

Also, consider the source of these statements. These statements stem from characters who are top-tier and know WB quite well. They have a slightly better clue on what's actually going on than the vast majority of the world.
Plz read again WB vs Shanks. Shanks is talking about the future.

Lastly, do you honestly believe an out-of-date infobox is worth more than what we know about BB?
Outdated? There is a different timeline: 1. BB eats his DF and flees 2. WB was introduced 3. BB is revealed.
Those infoboxes contains character information about the current present. As BB was revealed he already ate his fruit, yet Oda stated WB as the strongest. Which means BB is atm weaker.

Should we ignore things such as BB scarring a Yonkou, eating the world's strongest DF, defeating two of WB's commanders, becoming a Shichibukai with a 0 bounty, and is the person who is obviously going to be the final villain?
Yet I fail to see how that would put him above WB, even though his ability wasn't shown. btw "strongest fruit" is relative. There is no such thing as strongest fruit, since its fighting power is determined by the user. The fact that Luffy will beat the crap out of BB should proof my viewpoint, whereby I assume u will agree with me.

BB is a Shichi and WB is a Yonko, those groups are standing in whole equal. If we consider a fight between those two guys then words like Yonko and Shichi has no meaning.

And u talked about the future again: "going to be the final villain"

No. WB is known as the "strongest". He only retains that title until he's beaten or the world agrees with people like Shanks that BB is more powerful. So far only Buggy stated him as the strongest. So ur point that everyone acknowledged him as the strongest is invalid.

Luffy is a horrible example because he's far from being top-tier; he isn't even in Ace's league yet. BB, on the other hand, has demonstrated that his power is indeed legendary.
You didn'tt get my point. While Luffy had a known power up, BB didn't had one. Thats why Im saying WB is stronger. Again, those infobox tells us about the current (not future) facts. Oda already knew about BB power and strength, yet he stated currently some1 else as the strongest.

Then why did Oda state WB as the strongest? I agree with u that mangaka not reveal plot keys early on. But why was it necessary to state WB as the strongest? In Naruto or Bleach was no-one stated as the strongest. I will repeat: u can't compare WB and BB's case with something in Bleach or Naruto. Kishimoto and Kubo didn't state some1 as the strongest. They reveal plot keys if the time is ready. While Oda already revealed WB status.

About Aokiji, that was a translation mistake. Which is already cleared.. anyway. Tell me 1 Mangaka who stated one of his character via infbox as the strongest, but was defeated or proven wrong without a power change in the story.

Show me some1 acknowledging WB as the strongest? Buggy said WB is the strongest pirate, technically there could be a stronger Marine. No-One acknowledged WB as the strongest. So far as we know, the character only put him on a high lvl. You get what Im trying to say? These infobox are telling us the neutral current facts.

You're saying BB has no idea about WB's strength and how it compares to his own despite the fact he served under the man for decades? lol.
I will give a simple example based on real life, I hope u will understand. In my neighbourhood was a small family with 2 kids. Those kids lived since birth together. The older one 22, the younger one 17 years old. While the elder brother went to university and put most of his time into study the younger put most of his time into training/fitness (coz of his gang). Some day they had a big fight, the younger one thought he could win, since he has a trained body while the elder isn't physically fit. In the end the younger one was hospitalized with serious injuries. He challenged his elder brother, even though they knew each other, he was too confident in his trained body. Same case with BB, even though he probably knows about WB's strength he still things he is stronger.

So I will ask u again, why do u have so much faith in merely BB words? Fighter (character) tend to overestimate themselves with new gained abilities. I agree WB will fall, but currently no one could beat him fair 1vs1.

We can also doubt WB's title if the author blatantly hints that Character X is more powerful than WB.
If those "blatantly hints" are gained though power ups (DF, training) after the WB introduction, then yes. But that was not the case.

Please quit overlooking the fact that Oda wanted to keep quiet about BB's actual strength before he made Shanks drop the bomb to us, the readers, in order to give BB proper hype to his character.
PLz quit overlooking that WB was stated as the strongest, while BB had his fruit. There is a different time line and plz stop mixing up the future with the present. Even if the future is in 1hour (one piece timeline)!

Oda never stated WB is the strongest, only that the majority of people in the OP universe think he is the strongest. We, the readers, had no reason to question this general consensus because Oda had no intention of telling us the truth about BB until Shanks met with WB for whatever ??? Shanks wanted to discuss.
I posted above but I will ask u for proofs again. U claim the majoriy of the people thinks WB as the strongest. Plz show me any proof. As far as I know, they only put him on a high lvl, while no one was shown to say he is the strongest.

If I may repeat myself: the infobox are information about the character, which are about the current facts.

Because BB knows what he's talking about.
So did Enel.

Oda made BB say that. That is Oda hinting that WB is not the person who is actually the strongest.
No, that is BB arrogance.

Well, if BB gained his ability after the WB's introduction, then I would agree with u. But there is a different time line.
___________________________________________

1. I agree WB will fall, but will happen in the future.

2. WB's title is currently valid. Like Enel's "God of SkyPia" was valid as he was introduced. Even though WB introduction was years ago (our timeline) in one piece only a few weeks or month have passed. In that time no power up was mentioned. I repeat BB had already his fruit.

3. Those infobox contain neutral information about the character, whether or not the living character acknowledge it. Example Enel : He was not acknowledged as God (name of ruler; like president in America) of SkyPia, but he was. until (Luffy defeated and) GanFall replaced him. Same with WB. He is currently the strongest but he will be replaced some day in the future.

But no u can't compare Enels title with that of WB. While Enel was said to be "God of Skypia" WB was said to be "strongest man". Enels is only limited to SkyPia and it was the name of the ruler, not meant to be the strongest in sky pia. While WB include every man on the world. His title is still valid, since we haven't seen a power up of any character. BB, Garp, Sengoku etc are still as strong as they were as WB was introduced. Until its said otherwise.

@mugiwara84: I will reply ur post later. Sry Im short in time right now. I thought I would manage both of ur posts, but I miscalculated.

Re: Who's the most strongest guy in op ?

The problem here is that people take one piece of evidence as absolute (the infobox) and ignore everything else. WB holds the title of "strongest" because people think he is the "strongest" because of his reputation. But general consensus isn't always right. Five hundred years everybody "knew" that the Earth is the center of the universe. In the OP universe, many people believe WB to the strongest and it isn't completely without merit since he did tie with the Pirate King. But individuals such as Shanks are the "Copernicus" in that world.
The hell.

Shanks didn't even say BB was stronger then WB. He only stated that BB would be stronger then Ace and shouldn't be underestimated. He also implied that WB would do well to be wary of BB and to not take action hastily..though ofcourse WB does.

Where did he say BB was stronger then WB?

Its not only the fucking infobox

Its the fact that EVERYONE in the world of OP rates him highly. NO its not only Buggy (an insignificant character he is not though everyone seems to think so). Sengoku does so, Garp does so, the whole fucking WG does so including the 5 Stars. Hell BB himself rates WB highly or else he would've attacked him by now. Instead he hides behind the world's ultimate force, the WG and lures WB into an ambush. A man who knows hes stronger wouldn't do that. A man who knows hes stronger with a personality like BBs wouldve rushed headfirst into a fight and proved to the world that hes the strongest by defeating WB. Every character respects WB..I haven't seen a character yet who doesn't. Garp even calls him a legend.

Its also the fact that WB was the only one who fought Roger to a standstill. And that he commands 1600 fucking men divided into 16 divisions, each division led by someone who is most likely close to or surpasing the skill of Ace who is himself a logia user.

So no its not only an infobox. There is plenty of evidence. Some people are just too blind to see it.

Re: Who's the most strongest guy in op ?

Infobox = Oda speaking = absolute law. Which I already pointed out and several people that infoboxes is not something you should take as an absolute law.
If u seriously think Infobox is not an absolute law, plz show me false proven examples. Im saying, Infobox are abolsute law, coz so far not even one of those were proven wrong. Since u r so confident about ur opinion, let me hear ur examples.

But u r right, Im also tired with discussion which are circling around with the same facts.

Since you are so sure of this and always add this could you show me an interview where he says that the infoboxes are absolute law and titles given bye Oda himself rather then titles that the WG deals out (or the viewpoint of the majority in OP).
That is actually common sense. Infobox represents neutral facts of the narrator, without influences of character viewpoints. But to answer ur demand, I don't have any interviews.

And I already asked, what can I dispute at random numbers and just names. You can only debate something when something is given to question it. What can I debate at the majority of examples that you gave? Especially cause I already gave my take on Mihawk and how Oda makes it easy to acknowledge that he is the strongest swordsman
Exactly, u cant debate about that. That's my fukking point.
Those infobox contains neutral information about the current. I don't fukking get why u don't understand that WB is the strongest. If one is absolute, why shouldn't the other not be? Which were all written by Oda, based on his viewpoint.

U should have enough brain to realize that is not enough to proof Mwk to be the strongest. "Il will be always the strongest".. if Mike Tyson would say that as he was still the champion, how many ppl would take that serious? I believe only fanboys of him..

Oda making him say that he'll always be the strongest and he hasn't give any reason to doubt this words cause we haven't seen anyone saying they became stronger then him. If Oda raises no doubt people can't start doubting.
Oda made Mwk say according to Mwk personality and viewpoint. That is how Manga/Comics and in general Story works. If a mangaka wants to proof that correct he puts a fukking infobox and states him so.

Let me ask u again, if Oda knew BB had the darknes fruit and he knew he is gonna show that in a fight with Ace, then why did he state WB as the strongest? Why should Oda fukk himself? Wouldn't it have better if he let WB without that title? It doesn't make any sense. So I will ask u again, why do u have so much faith in merely BB words? Fighter (character) tend to overestimate themselves with new gained abilities. So BB could think he is stronger than WB, which don't have to be true.

Put it in context pls, in Usopp's case he was acting emotional and irrational. And did he truly thougth he could beat Luffy?
Context? u have no right to use that word..
He was worrying for Merry-Go, therefore he was maybe not thinking straight, but he thought he could seriously win. To remind u: Ussope said the winner gets Merry-Go and he wanted it. So he was serious.

Now BB: he gained a new ability (darkness fruit) and is overconfident with that, he things he is the strongest and always be until he dies. He doesn't know that Luffy a mere paramecia fruit user will own him one day. Basically, Oda let BB arrogance speaking. Since that is his personality. Seriously he was fighting with Ace and he wanted Ace to join him. Do u rly fail to see how much arrogance BB posses? Now put BB's arrogance in the context of BBs talking: Does his statement still has such value for u?

Now proof me once and for all that Oda said that the infoboxes are absolute law rather then the viewpoint of the WG or the OP world in general.
Plz ask ur teacher or some1 who is reading novels etc: Are narrator comments (not questions) in a story absolute or not? Also add before asking that in one piece the narrator comments are neutral, without influences of any character. Plz ask some1.. Im not making fun

Also to repeat myself, I don't have any kind of Interview (truly funny u want proofs but u believe the databooks are not from him, which is currently only rumour) to backup my statement. Also u don't have any to prove my wrong.

I could only give example such as Enel: His infobox said "God of SkyPia" The moment he was introduced he was God of Skypia, later he was replaced by Gan Fall. So the infobox stated him as the ruler or governor of SkyPia, which was true. And the majority of SkyPia didn't accepted that. Same with WB, he is currently the strongest, he will fall we all know, but that is in the future. We are considering the present. At this very moment WB is the strongest, since no other power up was shown.

Edit:
Like I said - Infoboxes show titles, not facts.
Can't believe you kept typing after this. To me, this is the perfect anti-WB argument.
God of SkyPia - Enel

  • God is the title, the one who rules over SkyPia.
  • God Enel is a fact, the fact that he is the currectly ruler/governor of SkyPia
So in these case, it is a fact and a title.. ..*roll-eyes*

Oda never stated WB is the strongest, only that the majority of people in the OP universe think he is the strongest.
WB by ODA! Show me proof that the majoriy of the world thinks he is the strongest. Do I need to explain Enel again?

Character statements are written based on character personality and viewpoint. While Infobox are neutral, these represent the viewpoint of Oda, which are absolute. If u want to prove that wrong, show me a infobox, where he made a mistake. I can show u infoboxes which were correct.

An infobox isn't the view point of anyone.

It is fact. It is the truth. Theres no point disputing something like an infobox.

If a character claimed something was true..well you could easily dispute that fact, especially if there was enough evidence against it.

However, this is an infobox, and I really can't see much evidence against WB being the strongest. On the contrary I can see a lot of evidence for WB being the strongest. Even IF there was evidence against WB being the strongest, you still can't argue against an infobox because it'd be your speculation against Oda's word. And there isn't any evidence at all. Not one shred. Shanks didn't say BB was stronger then WB. There is nothing to back up your point. Only your speculation.

So do you honestly think your speculation is mroe valid than an infobox?

Check my post above. Thanks.

Re: Who's the most strongest guy in op ?

Those infobox contains character information and current status. Enel was said to be God of SkyPia. Which was true at the time he was introduced. He was replaced (GanFall) after the infobox was shown for us reader. Same with WB, he is the current strongest man. He will fall, but that is in the future. Im talking about the present not the future.

btw Enels title is the name of the ruler or governer of SkyPia, while WB's title is something u gain with fighting power.
My point still stands. Enel believed himself to be a god and the island's inhabitants didn't disagree. Therefore, "God" means more than just being Skypiea's leader, it also showcases the viewpoints of Skypiea's inhabitants that Enel is indeed a diety.

Please reread WB vs Shanks. Shanks states BB is going to defeat WB, and Shanks doesn't even know about BB's DF.

Outdated? There is a different timeline: 1. BB eats his DF and flees 2. WB was introduced 3. BB is revealed.
Outdated as information that's been retconned. After Shanks vs WB, it is BB who is now portrayed as the "strongest".

Those infoboxes contains character information about the current present. As BB was revealed he already ate his fruit, yet Oda stated WB as the strongest. Which means BB is atm weaker.
Infoboxes contain character information. It can deal with past, present, or future. Whether or not the information an infobox presents is revelent depends upon the situation. Although Raleigh, for example, is known as the Pirate King's right-hand man, that title is not revelent to the current timeline since Gold Roger's crew disbanded 22 years ago.

We have a similar concept here with WB. Before we knew the truth about BB, I would agree with you that WB is stronger, but after Shanks' confrontation with WB in addition to BB vs Ace, the information presented in WB's infobox is only revelent in the sense that he is known as the strongest. WB will lose that title when someone beats him or when the world views another individual as being more powerful.

We've known for quite sometime now that logias are the strongest DF, but the super DF that BB ate is special even among them.

BB is a Shichi and WB is a Yonko, those groups are standing in whole equal. If we consider a fight between those two guys then words like Yonko and Shichi has no meaning.
The "balance of power" has nothing to do with this discussion.

And u talked about the future again: "going to be the final villain"
It's a big deal actually. With BB being the person who will surely be the final villain, it means he outranks WB in both powerscaling and plot importance.

You didn'tt get my point. While Luffy had a known power up, BB didn't had one. Thats why Im saying WB is stronger. Again, those infobox tells us about the current (not future) facts. Oda already knew about BB power and strength, yet he stated currently some1 else as the strongest.
You didn't get my point. BB scarring a Yonkou already places BB's strength in the highest-tier. BB eating the world's strongest DF places him at the top level of the world. Whether or not we knew about BB's power early on is meaningless just as when exactly Luffy obtained the Gears, which we know occurred between his defeat at Aokiji's hands to when Luffy stomped Blueno.

Oda never stated WB is the strongest, only that the majority of people in the OP universe think he is the strongest. That is what it means to hold the title of "Strongest man in the world".

About Aokiji, that was a translation mistake. Which is already cleared.. anyway. Tell me 1 Mangaka who stated one of his character via infbox as the strongest, but was defeated or proven wrong without a power change in the story.
Aokiji was stated to be the MHQ's strongest fighter in both the manga and in one of the databooks. Oda later on clarified that it is specifically because Aokiji holds the title of "Admiral" that he along with the other two Admirals are considered MHQ's most powerful fighters.

Buggy also described WB as the person who is closest to One Piece and is the only known individual who tied with the Pirate King. Buggy believes WB to be the strongest individual, and with good reason. It turns out though that Buggy is incapable of seeing the bigger picture since he knows nothing about BB.

OP is a piece of fiction. If 'X' is portrayed to be stronger than 'Y', it means that 'X' is the more powerful fighter.

So I will ask u again, why do u have so much faith in merely BB words? Fighter (character) tend to overestimate themselves with new gained abilities. I agree WB will fall, but currently no one could beat him fair 1vs1.
I have faith in BB's words because he scarred a Yonkou, ate the world's strongest DF, became a Shichibukai despite a 0 bounty (they're suppose to scare pirates you know), and is surely going to be the final villain.

If those "blatantly hints" are gained though power ups (DF, training) after the WB introduction, then yes. But that was not the case.
These hints are from information we learned after WB's introduction. They hold more weight than an infobox.

PLz quit overlooking that WB was stated as the strongest, while BB had his fruit. There is a different time line and plz stop mixing up the future with the present. Even if the future is in 1hour (one piece timeline)!
Please quit overlooking the fact that the author is no longer portraying WB as the strongest. The only reason WB still holds the title of "strongest" is because many people still don't know about BB (not even Moria knew who this guy was until Kuma told him).

I posted above but I will ask u for proofs again. U claim the majoriy of the people thinks WB as the strongest. Plz show me any proof. As far as I know, they only put him on a high lvl, while no one was shown to say he is the strongest.
:blink WB wouldn't hold the title of "strongest man in the world" if the majority of people thought he wasn't the strongest.

If I may repeat myself: the infobox are information about the character, which are about the current facts.
If I may repeat myself: Infoboxes show titles, not facts.

So did Enel.
BB has a slightly better clue about things than Enel did.

No, that is BB arrogance.
No, that is Oda indirectly telling you that BB is the strongest.

Well, if BB gained his ability after the WB's introduction, then I would agree with u. But there is a different time line.
Who cares. What I said still applies.

1. I agree WB will fall, but will happen in the future.
In less than a week against an opponent whose power is shown to be at the top level of the world.

2. WB's title is currently valid. Like Enel's "God of SkyPia" was valid as he was introduced. Even though WB introduction was years ago (our timeline) in one piece only a few weeks or month have passed. In that time no power up was mentioned. I repeat BB had already his fruit.
WB's title is no longer because of Oda doing things such as revealing BB being in possession of the world's strongest DF for quite sometime now.

Infoboxes contain information which can easily be retconned. They present information which also showcases the viewpoints of characters in the OP universe. Enel's title showcased how he was considered Skypiea's leader in addition to being a divine entity before Luffy showed otherwise. In regards to WB's title, before Oda gave proper hype to BB's character, we had no reason to question WB's title. Now we do.

Nobody knew about BB at the time.

Its also the fact that WB was the only one who fought Roger to a standstill. And that he commands 1600 fucking men divided into 16 divisions, each division led by someone who is most likely close to or surpasing the skill of Ace who is himself a logia user.
You just just explained to yourself why BB didn't rush headfirst into a fight and prove to the world that he is stronger than WB.

So no its not only an infobox. There is plenty of evidence. Some people are just too blind to see it.
No. That infobox is the only piece of evidence you have for WB being the "strongest". We have plenty of reasons though to believe BB is the strongest. Some people are just too blind to see it.

Re: Who's the most strongest guy in op ?

clearly this argument has gotten out of hand just like WB discussions usually do.

So ill throw in my 2 cents WB=BB and there u have it. They're equal in every way so its gonna come down to factor x for the reason why 1 loses. Also because no one can completely prove that WB>BB or BB>WB then my argument is just as good. :P

just wait until the war and everything will be settled then.

Re: Who's the most strongest guy in op ?

Hes gained the "power", meaning the DF. And he'll in the end he'll be aiming for the top, which is the Pirate King title. In the end. He never mentioned BB being stronger then WB currently.

He'll eventually take over your position too. Eventually being the key word. If Shanks thought BB was stronger then WB now, why would he say eventually?

Hmm? Not so smart now are we?

Nobody knew about BB at the time.
Cos he hasn't accomplished anything. Without proving his strength, how are we to analyze it? How can we say BB is stronger? We know he has immense potential, having the most powerful DF and being a D and all that..but tht doesn't translate to actual strength atm unfortunately.

Ur point is invalid! I pointed out the infbox not what Enel thinks of himself. God is the title or name of the one who rules over SkyPia. Also unlike u said, the majoriy didn't accepted him as God.

Please reread WB vs Shanks. Shanks states BB is going to defeat WB, and Shanks doesn't even know about BB's DF.
For Godssake.. don't talk about the future. He will eventually take WB's position.."will eventually". Plz reread it again, but this time clearly.

Today is the present while tomorrow is the future ;)

Outdated as information that's been retconned. After Shanks vs WB, it is BB who is now portrayed as the "strongest".
It can't be outdated, since WB ability/power wasn't shown. Don't look at the things one-sided.

I will repeat: Character information contains current informations, which are neutral facts!

Silvers Rayleigh - Former First-Mate of the Roger Pirates "Pirate Kings Right Hand Man" -
Note where the apostrophes stands. He is called former vice and it is with apostrophes hinted that he was the right hand. No one calls him now right hand, every motherfukka calls him Dark King or Silvers Rayleigh. Show me proof some1 calling him Right-hand of PK.

The title "Right Hand" is connected with former, that's why right hand is with apostrophes written.

It is noted that BB will be the final villain, again will be = future. Im not denying that. So u got convinced by BB and Shanks even though u haven't seen WB's ability?

Also in the upcoming war, I don't think there will be a WB vs BB fight. More like WB vs Sengoku or Garp fight, while I assume MArco or Jazo will fight BB.

We've known for quite sometime now that logias are the strongest DF, but the super DF that BB ate is special even among them.
Honestly BB fruit is overrated.. there are many condition for his "nullify ability", I believe Enel would have beaten him.. .

The "balance of power" has nothing to do with this discussion.
That's what I just said, thx for underling my words.

It's a big deal actually. With BB being the person who will surely be the final villain, it means he outranks WB in both powerscaling and plot importance.
It is a big deal, but right now he isn't the final villain. He is still growing (in influence etc)

BB scared a Yonko. The same Yonko has to go to talk with WB like a dog. The same Yonko who was laughed at by WB. Seriously what do u intend to proof by scarring Shanks? It has no meaning in front of WB! BB is in the highest tier, no one denied that. So is WB.. a bit above though. Also Im not putting Shanks low, he is indeed strong.

btw Luffy gained his Gear between W7 and EL, between AoKiji and EL is also true but we can shorten the timespan. Has no meaning anyway...right now

Oda never stated WB is the strongest, only that the majority of people in the OP universe think he is the strongest. That is what it means to hold the title of "Strongest man in the world".
Where is ur majority crap coming from? U have any proof to back that up? Enels title, "God of SkyPia" was also not acknowledged by the majority. Infobox are neutral, they don't represents some1 thoughts.

Aokiji was stated to be the MHQ's strongest fighter in both the manga and in one of the databooks. Oda later on clarified that it is specifically because Aokiji holds the title of "Admiral" that he along with the other two Admirals are considered MHQ's most powerful fighters.
There are many discussion about that already, honestly I can't read jap. I don't want to talk about possible translation mistakes.

Buggy also described WB as the person who is closest to One Piece and is the only known individual who tied with the Pirate King. Buggy believes WB to be the strongest individual, and with good reason. It turns out though that Buggy is incapable of seeing the bigger picture since he knows nothing about BB.
Buggy said, strongest Pirate. Technically there could be a stronger Marine. Why don't u just read the scans instead of talking out of ur memories.

OP is a piece of fiction. If 'X' is portrayed to be stronger than 'Y', it means that 'X' is the more powerful fighter.
While X is WB and Y BB.

I have faith in BB's words because he scarred a Yonkou, ate the world's strongest DF, became a Shichibukai despite a 0 bounty (they're suppose to scare pirates you know), and is surely going to be the final villain.
  • scarring a Yonko is nothing for WB, I want to see BB scarring WB
  • We don't know about his ability and BB hasn't eaten the "so called" strongest DF, Luffy will beat him. How should that happen if BB has the strongest DF? No sense...
  • Shichi are there to scare mere pirates, honestly they didn't even scare SHs, Kid and Law. Also they are there to counter balance the Yonko.. the only reason for their existence is coz of the Yonko!
  • He defiantly is going to be the final villain.. -> future

These hints are from information we learned after WB's introduction. They hold more weight than an infobox.
That's ur opinion. I think Oda is superior.

Please quit overlooking the fact that the author is no longer portraying WB as the strongest. The only reason WB still holds the title of "strongest" is because many people still don't know about BB (not even Moria knew who this guy was until Kuma told him).
Show me proof many ppl acknowledging WB as the strongest.. plz Those infobox are abolsute facts about the current, which are neutral.

WB wouldn't hold the title of "strongest man in the world" if the majority of people thought he wasn't the strongest.
blah blah blah.. show me proof and not some logics of urs. I could also posts logics without facts supporting it. U want to hear that? I don't think so. Who thinks that?

If I may repeat myself: Infoboxes show titles, not facts.
God of SkyPia - Enel
  • "God" is the title, the one who rules over SkyPia.
  • "God Enel" is a fact, the fact that he is the currently ruler/governor of SkyPia
So in these case, it is a fact and a title.. ..

No, that is Oda indirectly telling you that BB is the strongest.
That's again ur opinion. He also said WB era is over. Which is not true atm... It is his arrogance speaking, how can u not see that?

In less than a week against an opponent whose power is shown to be at the top level of the world.
How can u be sure that there will be a BB vs WB fight? There are other guys as well.. its a war. Sengoku, Garp etc

WB's title is no longer because of Oda doing things such as revealing BB being in possession of the world's strongest DF for quite sometime now.
There is no such thing as strongest DF. DF depends on the user. Logia is usually the strongest type, nothing more. Luffy already beat 2 logias.. Also we don't know about WB's ability. He possessed the so called "strongest logia" while WB was introduced as the strongest.

Now we do.
Those information can be only disputed if there is a change. In Enels case a revolution and replacements. In WB's case will be probably also a replacement.

Anyway, Im glad u stopped comparing One Piece with Bleach and Naruto. Also plz don't mix future with present. U can use wikipedia to get ur information on those words.

Well, it has no end. We are arguing in circle. In the end it comes always down to the same arguments. I will post one more time then I will let it be. There is no need to turn that in a heated debate. Also it seems neither of us acknowledging the posts of the other. So I feel like an idiot wasting time here. I think I will go with what Gecko said.. one more post.

What about Monster Chopper in the strength ratings? I think he could have taken Sento until Kuma sent him packing.

Re: Who's the most strongest guy in op ?

Let us keep this up till WB falls cause it's so much fun.

Im saying, Infobox are abolsute law, coz so far not even one of those were proven wrong. Since u r so confident about ur opinion, let me hear ur examples.
Again I already answered this. You can only debate something in an infobox when theire is something given to debate. In WB's case Oda clearly did.

That is actually common sense. Infobox represents neutral facts of the narrator, without influences of character viewpoints. But to answer ur demand, I don't have any interviews.
I thougth it was common sense that the infoboxes while they do can hold facts don't always need to hold exclusively facts. Especially when Oda raises so much doubt about something he put in an infobox.

Exactly, u cant debate about that. That's my fukking point.
Those infobox contains neutral information about the current. I don't fukking get why u don't understand that WB is the strongest. If one is absolute, why shouldn't the other not be? Which were all written by Oda, based on his viewpoint.
I can but why should I debate something when their ain't something given to start doubting it. Why should I think Mihawk will not always be the strongest swordsman when Oda made it clear he'll always will be. The only other infobox that has a title similar to Mihawk & WB is Dragon.
And I don't see the need to discuss it either. In Whitebeard his case we had actually Blackbeard saying that he's stronger then him. So this raises doubt cause Oda is indirectly telling that their are persons out their that rival the current strongest one. And no he isn't beeing arrogant, this is a man whose words we can take serious.

U should have enough brain to realize that is not enough to proof Mwk to be the strongest. "Il will be always the strongest".. if Mike Tyson would say that as he was still the champion, how many ppl would take that serious? I believe only fanboys of him..
It is enough proof, only an idiot would doubt that Mihawk won't still have the title when he has his match with Zoro. Oda indirectly telling me that he'll be unrivaled till Zoro meets him again seals the deal for me. Maybe you should be the one with enough brain to realize this or are you going to say he'll lose the title?
And how does an irl person making ambiguous statements the same as a mangaka forshadowing a future title match?

Let me ask u again, if Oda knew BB had the darknes fruit and he knew he is gonna show that in a fight with Ace, then why did he state WB as the strongest? Why should Oda fukk himself? Wouldn't it have better if he let WB without that title? It doesn't make any sense. So I will ask u again, why do u have so much faith in merely BB words? Fighter (character) tend to overestimate themselves with new gained abilities. So BB could think he is stronger than WB, which don't have to be true.
Again I already answered this it's to hype him up and not to reveal everything of Blackbeard already. He hypes two person up and people majorly anticipate the fight and stay interested, that's what you call good writing. And how does Oda f*ck himself? It's just a title, not like he lied when he gets beaten (that's only the case if you think infoboxes are facts) . And why do I think BB ain't talking bull and just beeing arrogant like you think. I'll quote someone else from an other forum. Spares me time.

Blackbeard D. Kuma said:
Blackbeard is not arrogant. Contrary to what you may think, he is so far quite possibly the most prudent/cautious pirate in the story. Let me provide a synopsis of his plan so far.

Blackbeard's goal, as far as we know, has always been to become the next pirate king. However, his approach on climbing to the top was very different than the many other pirates out there; he wanted to keep a low profile so that he would never get himself noticed. By maintaining this anonymity, combined with his formidable fighting skills (evident in the fact he gave Shanks his three scars), he would be able to slowly reach his goal without any sneaking suspicions from other pirates.

In an attempt to rid himself of any opposition, he chose to seek and acquire the darkness devil fruit so that no devil fruit user could overpower him. But, rather than going out onto sea and trying to find it himself, while knowing the high probability of encountering very strong pirates, he would circumvent this whole problem by becoming a lackey of Whitebeard's pirate crew. He figured that by joining Whitebeard and his crew, his chances of obtaining the darkness fruit he so desired would be the highest since Whitebeard is the strongest man in the world, is feared/known by all pirates, and because he would have the protection of him and his crewmates. Blackbeard's recruitment into Whitebeard's crew would shroud him in even more obscurity since Whitebeard has such a massive pirate crew. No one would ever really know who he was.

Eventually, Whitebeard's crew did end up procuring the darkness fruit. Upon this development, Blackbeard immediately seized his opportunity to claim the fruit by murdering the fourth division commander. Of course, once he was exposed for being a traitorous bastard, he defected from Whitebeard's crew and started to slowly make his own crew. It is at this point where Blackbeard now desired to make a name himself. The problem now was that he still had no reputation; a lot of his actions had went unnoticed. It is then that fate intervened when Sir Crocodile was defeated by Luffy and the world government was offering notorious pirates the chance to become his successor. This situation was too convenient for Blackbeard, since if he was to become a warlord, the world government would grant him amnesty and he would be immune from any hassle. By once again receiving protection, his goal towards becoming the pirate king would be facilitated since his opposition would be obstructed by the world government.

Now, by looking at the synopsis I just posted, I don't see how anyone can say that Blackbeard is arrogant. He carefully thinks things out before making any decisions and he doesn't underestimate people. I would describe him as a risk assessing, calculating, conniving, traitorous bastard.

Context? u have no right to use that word..
He was worrying for Merry-Go, therefore he was maybe not thinking straight, but he thought he could seriously win. To remind u: Ussope said the winner gets Merry-Go and he wanted it. So he was serious.
I don't see why. Beeing serious and really thinking you could win is different. The weakest man of the crew thougth he had a real chance at the strongest man of the crew? Unlikely or like I said he has to be even more stupid and delusional then I already think he is, and I'll gladly adapt to that opinion but I can't cause all he was doing was acting irrational

Not knowing that Luffy will own you one day ain't arrogancy. Do I have to really elaborate on why it isn't? He even acknowledged him cause he immediately said that he didn't believe that he could have such a low bounty with such a big dream.
Did you read that quote of Blackbeard D. Kuma? He worded it perfectly well and saved me the time, I don't see how you could call Blackbeard arrogant... The fact that you even think Blackbeard is arrogant speaks volumes.

Plz ask ur teacher or some1 who is reading novels etc: Are narrator comments (not questions) in a story absolute or not? Also add before asking that in one piece the narrator comments are neutral, without influences of any character. Plz ask some1.. Im not making fun
This comes down with you again saying that it's Oda directly speaking in the infoboxes and saying facts rather then it beeing titles given bye the people in OP itself. Since I actually trust my reading skills more then yours I'm not going to pester my former teachers with a manga.

Also to repeat myself, I don't have any kind of Interview (truly funny u want proofs but u believe the databooks are not from him, which is currently only rumour) to backup my statement. Also u don't have any to prove my wrong.
Well ofcourse cause this discussion has no end and you seem so damn sure of yourself when Oda already made it clear that Whitebeard beeing the strongest isn't something you should take as a fact while you are saying it is a fact that WB is the strongest and no-one could beat him in a 1v1.

Now we're even going to debate majority? Last time I thougth only those guerrillas didn't accepted him who were far in the minority. And at the end when the mugiwaras left they all accepted him. So I guess your example again is invalid.

Example Enel : He was not acknowledged as God (name of ruler; like president in America) of SkyPia, but he was.
He was acknowledged, even if it was merely due to fear.

WB by ODA! Show me proof that the majoriy of the world thinks he is the strongest. Do I need to explain Enel again?
That's why I thougth he put it in an infobox, to show us that the world of OP consider him as the world strongest. This way he doesn't need to waist 20+ pages to make this clear and have tons of pirates tell this. That's the job of the infobox rather then stating facts.

Character statements are written based on character personality and viewpoint. While Infobox are neutral, these represent the viewpoint of Oda, which are absolute. If u want to prove that wrong, show me a infobox, where he made a mistake. I can show u infoboxes which were correct.
Now proof me also Oda is trying to rely facts rather then the viewpoint of the people in OP itself. All he's doing is hyping an uncomming fight.

He'll eventually take over your position too. Eventually being the key word. If Shanks thought BB was stronger then WB now, why would he say eventually?

Hmm? Not so smart now are we?
For Godssake.. don't talk about the future. He will eventually take WB's position.."will eventually". Plz reread it again, but this time clearly.
@ Paradoxe. You basicly answered in your previous post itself why it's eventually and you're calling us not smart cause we're saying those infoboxes are titles given bye people in OP itself.

Eventually cause BB doesn't has the overall power to defeat WB atm while he probably is stronger then him, that's why he fled to the WG. BB is a smart pirate, not an arrogant idiot like WB who mocked Shanks who made more then a valid point. What he did their wasn't praiseworthy nor should you mock Shanks, it was the arrogance that you're BB are accusing of. Shanks showing his ki and putting in him place ain't acting like a dog. We're talking about an intelligent guy who let himself get hit with a bottle of sake bye a nobody here. Shanks has manners which WB doesn't seem to have, just an other dude with a God complex.

It can't be outdated, since WB ability/power wasn't shown. Don't look at the things one-sided.
We aren't, like pointed out now several times. BB knows what he's up against and he ain't arrogant so it's probably not just a bogus claim that he's stronger then WB.

There is no such thing as strongest DF. DF depends on the user. Logia is usually the strongest type, nothing more. Luffy already beat 2 logias.. Also we don't know about WB's ability. He possessed the so called "strongest logia" while WB was introduced as the strongest.
It's never stated that he has the strongest DF, the most evil isn't the same as strongest.

http://img60.onemanga.com/mangas/00000002/00000441/02.jpg

And you can gauge DFs (though it's rather easier said then done), Luffy ain't an excuse. All he did was find the weakness and was the weakness of those logias. It's obvious that some DF are stronger then others. The only thing that depends on the user is how efficiently it will be used.

About Aokiji, that was a translation mistake. Which is already cleared.. anyway. Tell me 1 Mangaka who stated one of his character via infbox as the strongest, but was defeated or proven wrong without a power change in the story.
Does Kenshin count? My favorite manga and Oda worked under Watsuki. He had the title of strongest swordsman. I don't know for sure it was ever said in an infobox but everyone acknowledged him as the strongest and we all know that the true strongest was his sensei.

Self contradict more pls.

An infobox shows information .. aka facts.

*rolls eyes*

Hes called the Strongest Man in the World, not the Considered by most to be the Strongest Man in the World.

Lets play a game.

Re: Who's the most strongest guy in op ?

Imo what's written in the infobox are what Oda wants his readers to believe whilst reading his story. There's the difference between when his character in the story says he's the strongest man, and when it's stated in an infobox in the same sentence. Each characters have their own point of views and as a good writer/manga-ka Oda's got to make whatever them say as relevant to their personalities as possible and those words of them could be biased from the fact; it's your choice, your own consideration whether or not you want to believe them - however when Oda writes something in a box as explanations - that means it's settled, there's no doubt in it - take the recent box which revealed that the Boa sisters actually gained their power from the DF as an example, before then though we bet it's their lie getting that power from the Gorgon curse; we couldn't be absolutely right about it as long as some neutral and known-better character would come up to tell the fact behind their story. But when Oda put an infobox in it's confirmed.

Nonetheless, I don't even have the guts to conclude whether or not currently WB's actually still the strongest person. The infobox that Oda showed can get old when Oda have somebody else surpassed WB in the upcoming event, so why shouldn't it be considered it's an old info now too since even if Oda hasn't revealed about how far/whether or not the other characters would get power-up; we could still doubt that they wouldn't have improved as amount of time have passed in the story. We can only discuss from the solid things we've seen; and from what been last told about BB by Shanks he's still struggling which doesn't mean right now at this moment by the evidence I could see (which you probably have comprehended better and found more evidences than me of course) BB does surpass WB yet.

However, allow me to close this thread because it seems the more you guys have discussed, the more temper you guys have lost. Let alone you've repeated the same theories with just various different examples and it's going no where. Even if WB should be presented he's not the strongest anymore in the future; that doesn't even prove who's the right side with this "current" strongest guy topic imo.

Strongest of all

Who, in your opinion, is the strongest character in the OP world as it is now?

I think Blackbeard is the one right now. I'm talking about one-on-one no crews included. Blackbeard has both his and WB's DF and we still don't know of his progress during the time-skip. The only ones who I think that could oppose him would be Shanks or Kaido.

Wanna know your opinions :)
