Re: NBA thread

Bynum had a 42 points career high and 15 rebounds... How he played against the clippers, together with odom and bryant was really sick
great to see him getting back to great form, like he was before he got the knee injury. But like Lelo, i hate the Lakers. I pray for them to lose every night:D

Re: NBA thread

i love kobe. that competitive ball-hogging spirit, the insane drive to win that i love to watch. you see that in MJ too. i love team play, but it's the best when someone goes on fire with no regard for human life!

Please don't compare Kobe to his highness, MJ. Kobe is no MJ

Re: NBA thread

Well I think kobe has changed more into a team player than his previous (younger) years. You can see he enjoys how younger people like ariza, bynum, farmar doing some good things. Comparing Kobe with JM? Nah it's always placed in time context, etc but you can't neglect that like JM was being the best nba player in the 90s, kobe is the best one at this moment. Don't forget kobe made some great records +80 points

on a sidenote: lakers ar doing good. Won against the spurs :)

Kobe best at this moment? No, Lebron is the best player at this moment no question ask. Kobe was the best last year and a few years ago but the King is here and has already taken his rightful crown:D.

Re: NBA thread

if kobe and lebron would go one-on-one kobe will win, honestly. kobe has perfected all the necessary skill sets that a basketball player can possible have. but lebron has that raw dominant talent that really needs shaping up, but even at this stage it shows how much of a monster he can be. and that massive physical power will certainly make a team better, scoring, rebounding, blocking, everything a team needs to win. so kobe is the better player, but lebron is the league's best player.

@knuckle: i never said that kobe is near MJ. nobody so far has been nearer to MJ than lebron. but if lebron doesn't improve he will never achieve what MJ had in his prime: lebron's physical dominance and kobe's technical skill set.

Re: NBA thread

Yeah that shouldnt mean much to Lebron, cause you know he says I just care about winning. But its still should be a hit..its was still unbelievable.

How in the hell did the Nuggets lose to the Nets by 44 points? That is some weird shit.

Here we go,Kobe vs Lebron tonight. Its gonna be a great game, well see if the Cavs can hold the homecourt streak alive, this game should be epic.

Re: NBA thread

damn lebron's jumpshots are just UGLY. he really should stop doing those unless it's necessary. he bricked about 15 shots. either develop those lebron or stop doing them at all, just improve your post, slash or paint player which you're already godlike at.

Re: NBA thread

How can you say hes jumpshot sucks? He probably had an off night,no big deal,he will go on scoring rampages next time.Hes jumpshot is good and to me its not ugly at all.But I was expecting a loss..good for the Lakers.Last year the Lakers couldnt win a game against the Cavs, now they cant win a game.

Spurs won against the Celtics.Roy saves the fucking day again.

Re: NBA thread

cmon, look at the stats, his 3 pt shooting is a dismal 29%, and free throws went up from 71% to 76% this year, but still his form is not consistent at all. take this game, he had some good looks, he had some good shots outside, and his form sometimes shows, but most of the time, cuz he's too big, the ball either goes up too high or his fingers are messing up each other, it's like he's laying the ball in instead of flicking it

Re: NBA thread

i sound like a lebron hater but really i'm not, i've been following the guy since his rookie year and i'm still a fan. if you look 6 years ago he definitely didn't have a jumpshot in his arsenal, but was still able to rack up points. 6 years later there's been improvement but games like this, you will think that he needs to develop it more, or be more efficient with it. he had a lot of possessions today that he just kept racking it up. and that's what LA wanted him to do, force those jumpshots, because LA thinks that's the weakness. the cavs rotate their offense around lebron, so lock up bron, and force him to take those shots. he didn't slash to the hoop as much today, so only 5 of 20. you see? that's why i'm saying he's not efficient at those, he needs to develop that form so that he'd have a way around locking up, or just go to the basket more
