can someone tell me something about these characters from Hikaru no Go? I have no idea about the ones on the left (other than Akira) or right (other than Hikaru and Sai). I have never seen them before. Are they new to the re-released volumes?

I don't know where to begin with this TOC. It's awful. Bakuman that low, Naruto ahead of One Piece, Kuroko sixth, my previously stated issues with the bottom five. Horrific. At least DGM will be back in two weeks.

Kinda sad mago doesn't get out of that bottom and strange if you ask me given the fact it had very good ratings before. Anyway we'll see what it gives, I think within two weeks it's the hyakki yakou arc that's gonna be rated.

5 Bleach(The hell?)

If Bleach must be in the top five (and I'm fine with that) I'd rather see it at five, behind Gintama. In a perfect world, Gintama would be second behind One Piece every single week. One of the only good things about this TOC is Gintama cracking the top five. Oh, and low Reborn!

Hetappi Manga Kenkyuujo R, koen. It's a monthly skit by Murata-sensei about being a manga artist, the main characters being Murata-sensei himself and Jump editor Saitou (former editor on ES21, currently on Gintama), though there have been cameos by Ichigo 100%'s mangaka Kawashita and Neuro's mangaka Matsui. The skits themselves are actually quite fun, but I never got around to translate them because they're extremely heavy on text and go quite technical sometimes.

And it's not ranked in the ToC.

Good: Neuro getting possibly it's last anniversary cover...though it's a bit higher than usual. Kuroko may be the real deal too.
Bad: What the heck did Naruto do to get above OP this week!? Most of these chapters have been...OK, no more bias. Not really liking the bottom either. (luckily Mago's anniversary is coming)

bakuman's low position is probably why the main dudes no longer working as ana assistant, even though that was awesome, but let's pretend it's like when one piece was low that one time.

so yeah kuroko continues to seem feasible as one of the four new age pillars of jump, but wiht a sizable wait till the first volumes out theres not much to say on that yet
