Heh, I'm vaguely russian myself. Was born there, but moved to the US about 10 years ago so while my english is fairly good, I've started to forget my russian. Can sort of speak it and sort of it read it, but I understand it pretty good.
Anyway, the greatest problem I've had with transliterating russian to the latin character set is that often when somebody, like on a forum, asks how to say something in russian, it's really hard to get across what you mean. Whoever said "dhela" is how I'd write it myself as well since "dela" sounds a lot harder than "dhela," at least in my head.
