Actually I'm back to square one. >_> The people around her are just... diverse. Varsitarians, party-goers, people I can't really relate to. (Imagine our class being given a flowchart problem and me solving it in just two minutes while the whole class (yes, even her) languishes for a solution.)

And my paranoid self KNOWS they're laughing at the back of my head. Although most of the class sits behind me.

Unlike what most literature say, some people just aren't meant to be. You're probably the more introverted, business-first type, and she a happy-go-lucky type.

Even if for some reason she does turn her attention to you, her crowd's gonna sway you away from her. It's either you become one with her crowd or she leaves them behind.



Your experiences remind me so much of a younger me .

anyway, as a side note, way back in the gantz section some few weeks ago and there was this awesome chapter i couldn't contain myself and I said "sugoi!" out of fangirl-ism.

and this guy tells me I'm 13-f-california and wapanese and spouting random japanese words just for the heck of it and i think "what an idiot."

Jikai wa "Gundam G": Where exactly did that Shining Finger hit? Did he use the Shining Finger Sword on the same spot? Since the show is titled Gundam G, and the Shining Finger hit some spot, is that spot called the "Gundam G Spot"?

Heh I used to accept that I was introverted, too. But later on I realized that I wouldn't get anywhere so I just looked at myself as being too arrogant to deal with most people . I invented an explanation for my "introverted"-ness... Like "I hate crowds because I'm not the center of attention.", hehe.

I just have to watch out that I don't actually turn too arrogant, but otherwise, it's a good way to overcome it. When I'm feeling lazy, though, I'd still end up skulking alone in the corner.

Good call centers have training that can help you overcome introvertedness.

And yeah, I'm older than you are .

Heh, I thought it was quite a common phrase because Slam Dunk's Sakuragi said it all the time, but I figured the undubbed version wasn't much common.

Anyway, there's a reason why I wrote it that way. The English translation "Because I'm a genius." is arrogant . Writing it in Japanese means that I'm kidding and making myself looking stupid by being too much of an otaku haha.

Heh, I don't take seriously anything the government does related to the internet.

After all, it was they who were trying to set-up an absentee session for the Senate that would cost 500,000 pesos per person. Anyone who has bought a computer knows that P100,000 per person would already be too much for a laptop with a webcam and good broadband.

boredom forced me to check out some 2009 anime. i downloaded a couple of pilot episodes, and i decided on 2 series that i'll be keeping a weekly track on, 2 REALLY great series that really moved me

Saki Morimi is a young woman currently in the United States of America on her graduation trip. Cross Game is the story of Kou Kitamura and the four Tsukishima sisters, Ichiyo, Wakaba, Aoba, and Momiji. The Tsukushima family runs a batting center with an attached coffee shop, and Kou's father runs a neighboring sporting good store. Wakaba and Kou were born on the same day in the same hospital, and have been close friends since childhood—close enough that Wakaba treats Kou as her boyfriend, even though nothing is officially declared. Aoba, who is one year younger than Wakaba and Kou, doesn't like how Kou is "taking" her sister away from her and claims she hates him.

both are romance, eden has an intriguing story + stunning visuals and soundtrack, and cross game is like miyazaki doing high school romance. hey if you guys wanna check it out make sure to get the 720p version, these are 2 amazing series

Higashi no Eden is getting good reviews. I'm not really up for romance at this point, though. 1 show for this season is enough, and I'm doing FMA. I'm downloading too many shows and movies already.

The 720p won't help me, I don't have an HD monitor . I like my blacks black, hehe.

And oh, so that's what it is . I've seen it a few times, but I didn't know it was called that. At least now I have a term for what I avoid in Japanese cinema like the plague.
