Funny work story

I was subbing as an aide for students with behavioral issues. I was keeping an eye on a boy in kindergarten

Kindergarten

The teacher just told the class that they will be having an Alphabet party two weeks from now. Each student is assigned a letter and has to dress in a costume that starts with that letter. For example, if you have the letter "M", you can dress like a monkey.

Teacher: [name], you got the letter "T".
Boy #1: You can dress like a tiger!
Girl #1: I don't like tigers.

Teacher: [name], you got the letter "L"
Me: Lollipops?
Girl #1: I don't like lollipops.
Boy #2: Rawr! Lion starts with L
Girl #1: I don't like lions.

Teacher: [name], you got the letter "G"
Girl #2: Grapes starts with G!
Girl #1: I don't like grapes

Teacher: [name], you got the letter "X"
Parent volunteer: You can dress up as a giant xylophone
