i guess the movie was so bad that no one in western world bought it. i'll give it a few weeks for a subbed version to pop up.

I would love to buy it. If I had the money, that is. Though you also have to consider, that if someone in the west bought it.. It probably first got shipped out on the day of release, and then there is the shipping time for it + it's not even sure the western people that bought it, is going to make a rip off.

Yeah, us westerners have to sub it and all and clean it and stuff. For a Movie it always takes much longer than an episode.
We will get the movie roughly by June/July.

i know it takes time to do translations, timing, typesetting, encoding, etc
if there's a dedicated team it shouldn't take months

people rip anime eps all the time and subb them. i guess the song translation may take a while.

Its part of the process. Cleaning I believe is sorting out things like the quality and making the translations perfect and all.
And yeah youve said all the stuff like Typesetting, Encoding, Timing (Which is KEY), Translating perfectly is also a must.
Its always FAR longer when dealing with movies.

Against the rules what? You mean posting the link to the movie? I don't think so.

There's a livejournal community, 2se-subs, that gets all PoT stuffs and sub them (e.g the Another Story OVAs). They said that they are currently busy but will definitely be doing the subs. They are the only subbing group I actually believe would do it.. So I think the English subs might come a bit later.

Anyway, just wanna share this gif, I don't own it, but I'll gladly share as some sort of a silly preview of what to expect from this movie.

I just saw the movie. What a shit, Yukimura didn't even play and the opponents were fodder. I expected Tezuka level rivals but all MS owned them.

Seriously, they'll never make a good POT movie. futari No Samurai was better than this, but it wasn't that good either.

Yes, he did Hoshi Hanabi and Kagerou, but the rivals were fodder, I was expecting that they were a real challenge, and at least some of them were like Yukimura, but again, what a shit.
