So kayako and thorn are the same person?Snacks is a codeword.

My sister is getting married, so I'm kind of anxious as what to expect from the boy's side of the family. >_>Kayako?So kayako and thorn are the same person?![]()
Congrats. I only have one sister and no brother, it was very special for me. Before marriage, there was Nikkah in December 2005. Mehndi, Barat and Walima were in April 2005. In nutshell, after Nikkah my brother-in-Law returned to London to get all the papers processed to take her with him later on. So, we had one extra function (Nikkah). Now, what was it like? Being a male, I may not have enjoyed it as females do here. I was busy attending preparations, attending guests and relatives at home. The best is mehndi. More causal and more fun. The night before the mehndi, the house was echoing with sound of Dholki and Thapa songsEr....for more serious question, I wanted to ask thorn what his sister's wedding was like!My sister is getting married, so I'm kind of anxious as what to expect from the boy's side of the family. >_>

Well... he did put a certain deal out there, though I can't reveal the details. Still a little bit of time to cash in, Gary! He's a male prostitute.

Oh yeah, I guess it was, since it was the appetizer. Lightweight.A couple? Wasn't that his first?

Hmm?...I don't even know what to say to that. After I gave such a great recommendation too![]()
Yeah, but that's a fan mockup....Tyrion won't have a beard yet![]()
anyway, watched the first episode. Not so pleased that they left out the whole prologue stuff etc. but rest was good, I guess they do have to rush things to deliver anything noteworthy from the second book.
I didn't reveal much there goodsy, just a few changes they made in the first episode compared to the book. You can read it if you want, it's nothing big. What are your thoughts about the first episode?^Gah.... that spoiler tag is tempting!![]()

Pretzel logic....u haz itSo kayako and thorn are the same person?![]()

You gave out no vibe sis...don't tease me now when there's so much distanceWell... he did put a certain deal out there, though I can't reveal the details. Still a little bit of time to cash in, Gary!![]()

...yeah whatever. You're not making any senseThe beer he had.Hmm?
Who said it worked? Why did it take snacks to lure him into a woman's bed?

Ahhh... well, I haven't watched the episode yet. I have it recorded, though, and am planning to watch later today.I didn't reveal much there goodsy, just a few changes they made in the first episode compared to the book. Sure I am. It only took you 1 beer to loosen up and make a certain bold declaration, not the two I was originally giving you credit for.xi0 said:...yeah whatever. You're not making any sense
Ah, I see~xi0 said:The beer he had.
There was something other than what I said after the Crab dip?Sure I am. It only took you 1 beer to loosen up and make a certain bold declaration, not the two I was originally giving you credit for.![]()

I often say and do impulsive things for no reason if I'm in a certain mood, despite what you might think.
I have a few questions, Gary.![]()
If you could adopt any MH member, who would you adopt?
If you could have any two mangaka meet and become BFFs, who would they be?
Which inactive MH member(s) do you miss most?
Which two manga would be best for a crossover story?

...ahem, but that is irrelevant
....actually I have no idea really. They both have real-world settings so it could fit
Your niece and nephew are out-of-this-world adorable! Here is my little nephew:

You totally answered my question, and it's definitely been a help for me. I think my concerns are just silly stuff. There will always be awkward moments in wedding planning, and those things always disappear once the marriage happens and it's all over.Congrats. I only have one sister and no brother, it was very special for me. Before marriage, there was Nikkah in December 2005. Mehndi, Barat and Walima were in April 2006. The night before the mehndi, the house was echoing with sound of Dholki and Thapa songs.
My brother-in-law and his family are really nice people. They made no demands whatsoever. We did not even feel they were outsiders (outsiders = not for our family). Elder brothers of my brother-in-law are all Mulvi but they were singing the wedding songs and even knew how to play dholki. Sorry, if I am not helpful or failed to answer what you wanted.
In our extended family the tradition of singing sings is slowly dying out so its comforting to hear people doing it! My sister loves music, so we'd love to do the same for her. I agree, the mehndi is definitely the best! The wedding can be quite sad because of the rukhsatti. Your sister's wedding sounds like it went off without a hitch, and I hope inshallah my sister's wedding is just as fun! (Also, how awesome is it that even though your brother-in-laws family are a bit Molvi, they still participated with the singing!)
You know I was teasing, right? There was something other than what I said after the Crab dip?
And just because I was being goofy doesn't mean I was hammered after one beer, even if it was strong and I did guzzle it.I often say and do impulsive things for no reason if I'm in a certain mood, despite what you might think.

good choice, I already wanna watch the second epAhhh... well, I haven't watched the episode yet. I have it recorded, though, and am planning to watch later today.

what's the problem with reading the book. Maybe it's only me because I'm rather impatient but the book delivers so much more than the series
Well, it was a fun and enjoyable dinner overall.No...because I knew you two were laughing at some of the things I said, but I can only recall the crab dip comment right now![]()

Also, I bet you've already failed.
Oh, there's no problem really, just laziness.and...what's the problem with reading the book. Maybe it's only me because I'm rather impatient but the book delivers so much more than the series

Less interesting questionOk, so since my last question was directed at thorn, the next one is for xi0!
How did you discover MH and what made you stay?![]()

.
. It's a unique environment, I've made friends and hope to continue doing so. I consider some of them lifelong friends
....oh the intarwebz
Yeah...until I get branded as a lightweightWell, it was a fun and enjoyable dinner overall.
Someone really should've kept track of all the quotes from the meet. I already forget most of them. But that crab dip comment.... that's the kind of thing I will remember forever. Also, I bet you've already failed.

...there were some more at dinner. They'll come back to us eventually.
...what makes you so confident?
Yes, bed. Our bed. Our king size bed.
