Wow, kid Raku really knew how to play girls. Now that he knows that he made a promise to both of them, I'm wondering what's going to happen next, now that we know who the promise girl is, where will the manga go and which will he choose? I got a feeling that once he doesn't need to pretend to date Chitoge, he's going to try it with onodera but then realize he likes Chitoge more. Something like that, lol.

No way. If you ask me, there was wayyy too much dragging up until this point. To be honest, I think Komi had no idea what he was doing until he wrote this chapter. Honestly, I think he should've done this when he was around 20 chapters. 30 chapters is practically 3 volumes worth.
Even if he did drag it a bit,it was for a purpose. Firstly, the characters,especially Kirisaki and Raku needed some character development to give the revelation in the last chapter more importance for the both of them. Secondly, we, the readers, had to form some kind of attachment for the characters first in order to give the latest chapters a bigger impact. Honestly, I would'nt have cared much for those twists at the start. That's how I see it anyway.
inb4 people talk of how dragged out it is and plot twists should be like action manga again, this is romance please.
Romance, slice of life, comedy is all about the characters. The plot can only go so far without building a grand line or ninja villages. Romance authors usually can only create situations and plot lines with the characters they have and we would only be satisfied if the characters are those we are attached with. Like what the author had spent so many chapters doing, making us love the characters.
Even the side characters like the girl and boy with glasses who is just there for comedy makes me like them alot.
I don't think taking 3 volumes coming here is a problem seeing how this is a turning point for this manga and it needed the built up and if you haven't noticed, Raku would probably just choose Onodera if he didn't went through those 30 chapters with Chitoge. It's pretty obvious there are some feelings inside of him towards her.
I think an alternative way it could've worked is that Raku realizes the truth a bit earlier (around 20's) and then build his relationship gradually with both after that. Other mangas also do that too. It also helps steady the pacing.
When I thought we're finally going to know who is the promised girl... Oh well, the mystery is still behind the curtain, and the curtain won't be lifted sooner. The hair of the girl looks totally different from Onodera and Chitoge, no?
Wow, chapter 31 was full of win. First of all, this page was just too awesome. Shuu is too funny, him and tsugumi are definitely the most hilarious characters in this manga. Second of all, wtf? Another girl that's different then both? Seems like Raku is more of a player then we thought. Either that or Chitoge's natural hair color isn't blonde, which I doubt. I was hoping for another male character, but maybe we'll get another female character? Who knows, it could be one of those characters that are totally hooked on the main.
