Naruto for me has been failing since the beginning of the war's arc ... but apart from that, it has been by far for me the best shounen have ever read ... only some arcs of One Piece can fight equally to Naruto's awesomeness, like Enies Lobby Ar, Water 7 Arc, ....

Seriously since what part did you start to "hate" Naruto? Don't tell me you didn't find the first arcs awesome

naruto ended to me after the fight against gaara in the first part. the rest is just crap about eyes and sasuke

I can understand you don't like the fact Naruto turned into "bring Sasuke back" but imo didn't you like "retrieve Sasuke arc"? I mean imo it was an amazing arc. Not only Naruto got some important development, so did most of the other rookies.

And that's my opinion ... i really think One Piece beginning was nothing special ... Captain Kuro, Little Garden, Skypiea .... what made One Piece that good for me was awesome arcs that lead to important occurrences like Merry's or Ace's deaths. Those arcs for me was simply ... brilliant!

One Piece imo simply can't beat the awesomeness that were Waves Land's arc or Chunin exam's arc for example!
