I still haven't tried it yet. I've had a bottle for monthsSpeaking of interesting, I thought Schlenkerla Urbock, smoke beer, tasted interesting.

I tried Aecht Schlenkerla Eiche back when I bought it and I wasn't terribly fond of it.

Sadly, I can't recommend you to open your bottle. I thought it was like some beer with a drop of liquid smoke. Edit/Add: It is probably one of those acquired taste, and it may be good with BBQ or something.I still haven't tried it yet. I've had a bottle for months

I'm not going to waste itSadly, I can't recommend you to open your bottle. I thought it was like some beer with a drop of liquid smoke. Edit/Add: It is probably one of those acquired taste, and it may be good with BBQ or something.

I think I've had a few. It seems like the new fad, everything aged in this barrel and that barrel. What kind did you try?Another acquired taste...bourbon beer
It's to simulate the head formation that you get on tap. They're called "widgets", and they have a different kind in the bottles. It creates smaller bubbles due to added nitrogen and that creates a "creamier" head, something you'd want from a stout.I bought a Guiness fourpack recently, and while drinking the first can I noticed there's some plastic ball something in it. Can somebody tell me what it is about, it's sort of annoying.

LOL...you're not supposed to drink it from the canAh ok, I drank it from the can, and every time I took a sip the thing rolled to the front of the can. That was so not cool. I was about to slice it up and look what's inside, but I didn't want to wast the 25cents for the can.![]()

Those would work. I'm not picky about glassesYeah yeah, everything makes perfect sense now, but it's not like I have proper beer glases here. Just some coca cola glases from McDonalds, so its purpose won't be served here anyway.

Makes sense, but the ones I got are only $1 a pop, so it wouldn't stop meOf course we have, but since I'm moving out in a month and then move on to wherever a half year after I didn't really bother to buy anything new last few months, as I'd end up trashing all that stuff again, as I'd not know where to put it. So yeah.

I had a couple different ones, but the one I remember is Goose Island's Bourbon County Stout. It was really strong...I think I've had a few. It seems like the new fad, everything aged in this barrel and that barrel. What kind did you try?
Wow, yeah 15% is really strongI had a couple different ones, but the one I remember is Goose Island's Bourbon County Stout. It was really strong...

I think that the beer is actually a wine in disguise.Wow, yeah 15% is really strong
I wasn't expecting a stout, more an ale. Weird.
When it gets about 12% you start seeing them called Barleywines, yeahI think that the beer is actually a wine in disguise.
